FDD, gotta say, you do some decent work. I've read through this whole thread, and realize that A, i have no talents, and B, some people here are real bitches.
Aside from that, I've also been thinking of something I have done that is impressive enough to be worthy. While a lot of things come to mind, its probably not a good idea to discuss a lot of them in the open. So I think to my other interests.
I spend a lot of time with my dad. Ever since I was three years old, he has had some very bizzarre kidney problems. Throughout the 90's. he was part of a human guinea pig group to get the anti rejection drug known as FK fda approval and into the market. I'm sure some of the transplant patients on here have heard of it in the past. In the light 90's after approval was granted, most of the people, including my father, began to develop cancers. Winter of 99, my dad went through radiation therapy for cancer on his epiglotis, and while PA is not a medical state, even the doctor recommended he start smoking again, and it helped immensly through the radiation. Due to the treatments, he had to be taken off of the transplant list and the anti-rejection drugs leading to kidney failure. In June of 2000, he began dialysis. This past March, he was given a catheter because his acces point has pretty much failed, and the new one is still not maturing far enough along for use. All of his doctors and nurses know and accept his marijuana use, and do say they have several other patients that do, or wish they could. Since the day I turned 18, I've been working and fighting towards medical use and compassion laws in PA, and we are finally making a little bit of headway. I'm not as highly involved with the organizations as I would like to be, but as time is going on, and my dad is getting worse, I spend more and more of my time with him. We've been growing together since I was 18, and have finally moved it indoors for year round availability.
Not trying to pull any heartstrings or kiss any ass, but among my friends and the people that I know, none of them could handle the things I've seen and been around, and it impressives me every day.
