Anyone know how to use CO2 on your garden? I have access to it, just don't know how to administer it. I have 10 Big Bud seeds that just germinated. I'm anxious do whatever possible to help them grow!

well i think CO2 is great . we are using it, and I could tell instantly that it was speeding growth up. what are you using? the way we did it, was using champagne yeast, sugar, and water. when mixed together it produces co2. you could probably look through out the forums and see a lot of different ways to use it and different amounts to use.

i used a soda bottle with sugar and yeast last time around, and i thought there was a noticeable result in growth and yield.

Too little information to give you any advice.

If you're on your first grow or are inexperienced, don't use it - it can cause you more problems than you can solve because it can accelerate growth to twice that of non-co2 supplemented plants and if you don't understand plant metabolism or how it grows you won't be able to keep up with it. Plants use of c02 is just one of the basic plant growth building blocks and if you don't understand how it interacts with the others you won't know how to use it properly.

Get a straight-forward grow under your belt first and what you learn from that you can take into your next grow and experiment with co2 supplements.

Don't try to run before you can walk.

Why not!?

.
i think what b-gro is trying to say is if u have 2 exact plants, 1 with gram nugs and 1 with 2.5 gram nugs from super co2 saturation, the 1 gram nugs will be just as potent as the 2.5 gram nugs. in a sense, you'll make beasters.

On the other side of the coin dude, why not go for it? Before I started my 1st indoor grow, I was talking with a good friend who has like 13 years experience under his belt, I told him I wanted to grow hydroponically. He told my not to bother, it's way too unforgiving, do a soil grow and use co2, this was a recommendation that I used and am happy I did. One (of the many) side benefits is you dont have to worry about any soprt of bug infestitation, you;ll get nice big stems, and tight internode spacing.
On the other side of the coin is you better be prepared with a good light, lots of attention is needed, and good nutes. They will get really hungry. If you slack off on the light or the nutes, the co2 will be a waste of time, as you need all 3 in proper amounts, oh yeah and you also need high heat too.

CO2 can boost your growth rate of your plant dramaticly the easiest way to make it is by takeing 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of warm water mix it up and put n a 2 liter botle the take 2 cups of cold water and 1 tblspoon of bakeing soda and ad it to the bottle shake them well. Then you use yeast, bakers yeast will do its quite cheep. Poor the yeast in the 2 liter bottle and try to keep it on the top. and stir it up gently, stir every 4 days. this will last for 2 weeks. 1 or 2 bottles should be enough for 10 plants
