I'm stumped and have PICS!!!!

I have an issue with my White Widow plant 3 weeks into bud. She started to show signs of spots last week and this week they have taken over 40% of the plant. These spots only are on the leafs. The buds, stems are beautiful. I am useing FF nutes, Happy Frog medium and 400W hps. Temps are around 79 and 68 in dark. Plenty of air circulation and have never had this issue in the last 3 years of gardening. Thanks Guys and Gals!!! :-o

Does it look the same on the back side of the leaf. It looks like a type of mold possibly, what kind of humidity are you at. It doesn't look like a nutrient burn, which is usually dead cells. Could possibly be some kind of organisim, have you tried any insecticide, maybe try a little on one leaf. As a farmer I have access to a multitude of insceticides and fungicides. Most people don't like using them, but in reality they have a very short half live and most are gone within a couple days. Asana is a short life insecticide and Headline is a good fungicide. Good Luck

I was just told by my neighborhood botnist LMAO That I have a Magneese Def. It's caused my either lock out (ph below 6.0) and or Dry enviorment. So I am going to pick up some Cal/Mag and do a foliar feed for a few days and he said I would be back in biz. No, it was only on the top of the leafs, older leafs at that. I am an organic man and would NEVER use pesticides for my patients man lol Thanks though.

I don't want to anger you, just conversing. You state you would never use pesticides. The word "pesticide" carries such a horrible conotations. In reality alot of good pesticides have a very short halflive, thus meaning in a very short time they no longer carry the ability to affect change. A lot of fungicides also are water soluble and after a rain or wash of the plant, they are gone. There is great beauty in raising a plant organically, but if required, I question not using the knowledge that is there. I liken it to people that are sick and will not use doctors that have knowledge to help them. Peace and Good Luck

p.s. I hope all turns out well, but that does not look like a magenesse def. to me. Magenesse is such a minor nutrient, that in my opinion it could not affect that much of a change. Keep me posted.

Well it is NOT mold. It is only on my two White Widows. I think it's something with the strain itself. It is not affecting the new growth or the fruits. I mixed some epson salt in with the water a few days ago and it's still there. I'm stumped and just going to keep a close eye on them and hope I can still harvest off of them.

Manganese not Magnesium. If your friend was right, you added the wrong amendment.
heres a pic that I use for reference

It actually does look like manganese def. According to to the J.Cervantes' book, to treat Mn def., lower ph, leach the soil and add a complete chelated micronutrient fertilizer.
Also say "deficiency symptoms at a glance:
Interveinal chlorosis of young leaves
Interveinal chlorosis of progressively older leaves forms
Dead spots develop on acutely affected leaves."

Says Mn def is relatively common indoors.
Mn assists Nitrogen utilization along with iron in chlorophyll production.
"...while deficiency progresses, necrotic (dead) spots appear on severely affected leaves which become pale
and fall off; overall plant growth is stunted, and maturation may be prolonged (longer flowering time). Severe
def looks like a severe lack of Mg."
A very low, or very high ph can cause Mn def also.

Whatever the problem is, you couldn't go wrong by flushing your plant with 3x water.
Then MAYBE giving it a mild complete fertilizer solution.

also, you say that those are the only plant that exhibit those qualities. Maybe those plants are hungrier for micro nutes than the other plants?
Just a guess.
