how laid back is yall med marijuana policy is it like calis with damn near a novel of uses and doc that treat you...im in nm now and its very hard to get an keep your card here they just dangle it above you and when you get it like it did their no where to get your smoke from so...yeah i was looking at moving to cali but im really not a big city boy so...any info or web sites would be much appeciated

its easy to get a referral. if you have condition on the list and its documented in your medical records.
i got mine from Greenwellness. they were awesome.

if you are moving here. Eastern washington is a nono. they shut it down just this last year.
These is plenty on the west side of the state. The difference is in the DA's. The eastern washington DA has an agenda and stick up his butt. western wa is cool.

seattle and north are the best places to be for quality and leniency.

right on i just kno down here in new mexico you have had to ben dianoced with it in new mexico so thats why i was askin thanks alot plus rep +++++ but im still unshure where to go im thinking cali but im not a free way person lol but im also thinkinh colorado so...lol

We got traffic here in Seattle with freeways and highways and terrible traffic. I'm originally from Florida and I hate it here. I hate the rain, the fact that it gets cold as fuck but hardly ever snows (I like snow), we have all shitty sports teams and 90% of the people here play passive aggressive bullshit. The cost of living is really high, almost as much as SoCal, but you don't get the awesome city, cool people, proper beaches, palm trees, and enless entertainment. Instead you are rewarded with rain rain and more rain. And a BUNCH of weird ass people.

But we can have 15 plants here, the music scene here is amazing, living in Seattle you are an hour and a half from any climate you want to be in. Desert, beaches (not like cali or fl beaches), mountains, etc... whatever you want. The entertainment isn't like cali or florida either, but if you have the cash, there is something to do always. The pot is extremely good and very reasonably priced. Hydro shops are abundant and so are ads for grow equipment, clones, and even dried medical marijuana on craigslist.

The best part, laxfiz's post was an extreme understatement. Getting a medical marijuana license is easier than easy. You don't need to have ANY prior documentation on your medical history at all. You never need to see a practicing doctor if you don't want. Chiropracters and other secondary medicine practices are allowed to prescribe marijuana on a first time visit. The prescription is good for 6 months when you will go back and "if it's working for you" then they do 1 year prescription renewals every year after that. Since you don't need to be an actual doctor in an actual hospital there are doctors opening their own practices and all they do all day is prescribe marijuana to people because the patient claims they have a pain somewhere on their body and over the counter medicine didn't work. Also known as 'chronic pain'. As long as you have the $100, or whatever they're charging now, and a valid Washington state ID then you can have a medical marijuana card in 20 minutes.

first of all if you dont like it here, please be my guest and move to SoCal where all the 'cool' cities are, or back to Florida...lol.

People in any big metro area tend to be passive aggressive. Because they have to deal with stupid shit all the time and its not worth confronting EVERY SINGLE person that cuts you off or bumps into you on the street.

You think, generally, people in SoCal are cool?? Really?
You think, generally, people in Florida are cool?? Really?

The rain is a fact of life here yes, but what it gives us is the most amazing bouquet of plant and animal life you can imagine, including 2 of only 3 temperate rain forests on Earth.

It hardly gets cold here in comparison to most of the rest of the US. A little below freezing for a couple weeks max. With the marine weather you also get the chance of the odd 65 degree day in January.

Maybe you wouldnt need the city you live in to provide awesome beaches, endless entertainment etc etc if you just opened up, stopped judging the people around you and made some friends to hang out with. But with the attitude you currently have towards the city you live in I doubt you will find any friends or happiness here.

I have lived in several places in the US and in Europe, I think Seattle ranks as one of the coolest cities I have lived in. The main thing about it is its not trying to appeal to people like you. You have to appeal to it.:idea:

Nothing wrong with a man defending his home. Washington born and raised here. He is right though, most people that move here from different climates or less crowded cities do not like it here (virulient for instance). Like any big city there will be traffic, higher crime rate, high cost of living. Basically, fuck Seattle, move to the suburbs. Cheaper, nicer, all around better communities in smaller towns. Personally, I love the rain. I feel about rainy dark cloudy days like how most people feel about tropical weather. A lot of people are hypocrites though. They complain its too cold/rainy, come summer, complain it's too hot. That's expected when its goes from 30 degrees to 100 degrees.

It is ridiculously easy to obtain a MMJ card here. You might as well go in there and simply ask for one lol. Doctor asks what's wrong, you tell him something, he acts like he's paying attention, then says "seems legit" and there you have it.

You people should probably read the entire post. I listed some of the pros and cons of the Seattle area. Part of listing the cons is pointing out the worst of a certain area. That being said Seattle is nice. At the end of the day I like it here. Everywhere has negative aspects, the ones in Seattle are bearable to me. I don't mind the climate, but if someone is thinking of moving here, I think the responsible thing to do is give them a realistic impression of what to expect.

About the people thing. I wouldn't say the people in Cali/Florida are 'better', that's an extremely opinionated statement. I CAN say that, of the 7 states I've lived in, this one has the most weird people. There's always a weird looking or weird acting person in your eyesight when you go out in public. Maybe I'm just judgmental, but I don't like weirdos.

Anyways, to sum up, Seattle isn't bad. I'd say most people could move to Seattle and not completely hate it. You might not LOVE it like you would some of the better climates, or cities with winning sports teams, or cities with more than just 3 professional sports teams overall (and that's including soccer), or beaches, or 300 days of sunshine, etc...... But you won't hate it.

I have lived in 3 of the five largest cities in the country at one time or another in my life and Seattle has the worst traffic by far. Very poorly laid out roads spanning mountainous terrain and the puget sound, clogged with a mix of highly passive, obedient, cliquish, northern european and asian drivers. = Total cluster fuck.

Seattle is the spot.. There's just alot of d bags from cali and florida here. If you can deal with them you'll be good. Its hard to meet someone whoo dosent toke here. and like nag said, its as easier to get your card then it is to get a safeway club card, but the truth is you dont really need one here. You can find better herb for cheaper then the clubs sell it pretty easily..

The Northwest does have everything from desert to rain forest within about a 150 mile radius, and if you live by the rule there's no bad weather, just bad clothes, it's one of the most wonderful places on earth!

Buy some good outdoor clothes. REI is a good start, add XtraTuff boots from a fisheries supply, Dutch Harbor Gear rain gear, and you won't run out of things to do for a couple lifetimes. Hiking, skiing (2 kinds), biking, horses, fishing, kayaking, boating...we've got it all! Plus 15 legal plants per patient. :-)

seriously dude? Did you read the post I was responding to? I hardly think I can be called a jerk for merely addressing points made by the previous poster. The point of "the typical attitude in Seattle"? Well if you go up to a "typical" Seattleite, and talk shit about the city they live in, then I would say it a very "typical" response to defend against such shit talking. Especially when most of it is inaccurate.

So well done to you for coining such a witty and cutting phrase as "The jerk store called, guess they ran out of douche nozzles" I mean really, is that the best you could come up with?
