ok first a quick sitrep
indoor 1x2x1.5, 11.5on/12.5off cfl 300W actual (yes in the right spectrum), soil/water/nutes all in proper respective ph ranges and in good quality.
was growing indica and sativa, started both same time. flowered both same time. the indica did really well. the indicas were ready in early october.
the sativas however seem to be stuck half in and half out of flower, the calyx's never get big, they stay about half grain rice sized. tones of white hairs, very sticky, barely any odor. the the buds start fine and keep growing, then the hairs on the bottom go red and the flowering activity stops there, but the top keeps going, with constant new growth.
i thought i might have overbranched it. you know made it too bushy for its pot, so the roots couldnt support ALL the flowers. but i pruned ALOT (fyi never really gets toney or tasty), so now with only 3 major colas (down from 15) im getting new growth on all the bare branches and its still acting the same.
i DO NOT COMPREHEND THIS.
everything i know about growing tell me that this shit should be dead. its natural life cycle is predictable once you flower, and it should have been lookin like shit at month 6. much less new healthy vigurous growth.
AND NO. there is NO LIGHT LEAKAGE. into or out. there has been no inturuption of its light cycle not even a smidge.
so any ideas, or do i have mtant perinial weed?
