Flood and drain Ebb and flow setup.1)All this talk about how nicely the 3.5 gallon bucket goes into a 5 gallon bucket. Why not just put a 3.5 gallon bucket into another 3.5 gallon bucket. I would want to do this so as not to have to use so much extra water if you have to hit a certain level on the inserted bucket. With an extra 4 inches of water level to fill before hitting the growing medium with like 20 of these puppies thats a ton of extra nutrient solution needed. 2)Also with drilling holes in the bottom of the inserted bucket...is the idea that the roots will grow through them and hang down?
