Hi chaps

I've recently started an outdoor grow of Early Skunk and I had a very dumb question about nutrients. I've got Canna Terra Vega and I dont understand why part B is so much smaller than part A yet I'm told to mix the two (separately) in equal parts water.

Can anyone explain this to a wet-behind-the-ear grower.

Thanks a bunch

I think they sell the vega / flores separately. Might wanna check your order and make sure you ordered the same size bottles, if you did then they messed up your order.

When I mix their stuff I put in part A, mix it, let it sit for like 10 minutes, then toss in part B.
When they say don't mix them they mean don't dump the bottles of raw liquid into a pail together without water. Apparently it turns into a congealed pile of goo.

I always wundered y.. thought it made some sort of musterd gas if mixed straight together lol.

I just put the "A" in and without waiting i put "B" in.
My girls seem to like it alot.

The calcium nitrate in one part and the epsom salt in the other would react together in the concentrated solution, turn into calcium sulfate, aka gypsum, and drop out of solution. Then your plants are fucked for calcium.

Really though, learning just a little about the chemistry of nutrients would save you over 95% on your ferts purchases. You shouldn't ever buy a water bottle of nutrients again.

So what do you suggest?
Powders?
Iv never even looked into powders... only for gym suppliments lol not for plants.

All the canna ranges that have A and B should be in the same size bottle. They come In 250ml, 1ltr, 5ltr bottles, possibly 10ltr too. When you order you are paying one price for both bottles. So someone has fucked up your order or is having your eyes out. you will just have to contact them and tell them. They should send you a replacement. If not its the least expensive part of the range, I pay around £23-26 for a 5ltr of both parts, mine is coco line though, terra should be about the same.
GL with your grow.. Happy times are ahead.

Places like Amazon sell the Canna Terra Vega and Flores separately. I think it might be the only line canna does sell separately.

You are right there but both vega and flores have A and B parts and if you buy veg you should get both A and B and then buy flower separate and its A and B together as one price.
Aqua is the same too

Edit I'm wrong there, terra doesn't have part A and B, Aqua does. Cheers
