As for output, the 343w is the actual output (+3% for fans) the 450 is the total potential watts in all of the LEDs put together.

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

I just picked up some 8 Watt chip Lighthouse hydro prototypes. They fucking rock. The par out of my 2 490's is more than a 1000 watt HPS....
