Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

So I just got this email below. I know that technically means between the 20th and 26th. I don’t want to get my hopes up but at least one person only had to wait 7 business days between “at printer” and received.

How long was your wait after your card is sent for printing?

“You have been approved for the Medical Cannabis Program. Your new card has been sent for printing. You will receive it in the mail in the next 10 to 14 business days. “

Do you guys remember when I bought that vape off of Wish? Well guess what, yesterday was the day Medcardclock predicted I get my card. Did I? Of course not. But did I get my Pax 3 a whole 2 weeks early? Yup. So now I have to look at this gorgeous thing all day and no flower to put in it. Sad.. :(

from following previous posts, one dude said he got his the next day after that email, i remember another guy got his eight days after it. Good luck on waiting, Hope it's a fast one.
Thanks! Yeah it’s tough like...should I chill out and not check for 2 weeks or do I call up USPS every hour? Ahh I wish they had a more transparent tracking process...

I recently sent my application to idph through innovative express care. They do charge a processing fee but it’s totally worth it. They take care of everything. Now it’s just the waiting game for the card.
I did just read the tribune article about the new weed bill. I don’t think it will pass as is. They’ve been charging us all for fingerprinting and background checks. Now they’re going to scrap that, I doubt it. This is why politicians are sort of dumb. Instead of just pushing for “general pain” qualifications, they added all this extra bs. Rauner is not going to sign a bill that says felons can get trees. It’s just not happening.
On another note, my friend has a card and says the prices aren’t that great at his dispensary. Kinda pricey. But you get what you pay for.

Also. One other question? Has anyone not been approved by idph? Innovative express care prepared my app and approved my qualifying condition and I met with their docs. They sent in everything for me. I met all needed qualifications. Just curious if idph ever rejects people?

I don't know. I did see someone's finger prints had to be redone.

I had a good experience with IEC. I had anxiety about my application being approved as well and they reassured me that when IEC send applications for people that they’ve only gotten denied when applicants withheld a felony from them.

If you answered everything truthfully and IEC/Patient Alliance handled it for you then I think your chances are good. It’s really the long wait and radio silence from the state that is the more painful part.

That’s an n of 1 though- I imagine there are statistics they release about approvals and denials. The denials I’ve heard of have mostly been related to criminal convictions.

No felonies or criminal life here.
