Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

I just tried calling the state again because they told me tuesday they would send me an email but I never received it. So I call just now, and it immediately goes to a recorded message stating that call volume is high and that if I need to contact them I should do it over email. Then the call disconnected. Apparently I can't even get a hold of an actual person anymore... :wall:
Just keep trying you will get through... happened to me all the time.

The last email from MedCardClock I got was on Monday and it said 42 days until I get my card. As of today it will be 39 more days to wait. My CC was charged the day it was submitted so I won't have another indicator. I don;t think anyway. Did everyone get an email saying they were approved or is that just for people that sent in email requests? So July 10th is probably still the day I will get my card. The day after I leave town for 10 days..... That would be my luck. Patients must have patience...

My first contact in this process was an email I sent to one of the closer dispensaries near me. They directed me to “1body1life”, which is the doctor’s office that did the certification for me.

I’m with 3C Dispensary in Naperville. About an hour from me. Not the closest but I’m sorta surrounded by corn so nothing was truly local. I’ll give a review on them when I get to finally go there (perhaps in the next couple of days!)
Yman let me know how 3C is, I picked PharmaCannis in North Aurora. I'll let you know how it is. It is a little closer to me. The funny thing is that it is across the street from the Police Station.:eyesmoke:bongsmilie

Has anyone had their card lost in the mail? I got an email last Monday that I was approved and would get my card within 15 business days. This past Tuesday my Informed Delivery showed a letter from IDPH with a MA postmark that must be my card. However, I've yet to receive it. USPS says I have to wait a week before it's missing. I'm curious how understanding IDPH will be about this or if they'll make me wait 15 business days to claim it was lost in the mail (And then possible have to wait up to another 15 days for the replacement). Thanks for any help

Semi-urgent question for anyone who has their card.

Did anyone move around the time their card is expected?

When you filled the USPS change of address, did they forward your mail or is it like the Secretary of State’s office where they won’t forward your driver’s license anywhere but the address on the card and will ignore Change of Address requests?

I'm gonna stop counting the days I've WAITED and gonna try this counting the days to go before NINETY. It sounds like a shorter amount of time. instead of waiting for 76 days, I got 14 days to go til ninety. Who's with me on this?
That’s what I did. I saw the Dr on 2/9, thought he’d do the papers immediately. It ended up being 3/11, and I was crushed at restarting the count.
Once I started counting up to 90, getting a letter about a problem earlier than I’d expect wasn’t as awful, and having a card in my hands two weeks later was a huge surprise.

Sounds great. I will do the same. I just need to check that out. Are you going by your very first appointment, or when sent.

Got my timeline.
App received: March 28, 2018
Payed by credit card at THC
90 days later: June 27.
26 days from today.
Nice! I guess my timeline is
App received: March 23, 2018
90 days later: June 22.

Hopefully it’s faster but...I guess this helps to have reasonable expectations. Hopefully not longer than the 22nd. It’s already been 70 days...
