my opinion is "Ring the Phone Off The Hook " ! there is No Reason for such a long wait time except for the current administration . I am not a Democrat , but Rauner is to blame. plain and simple . Ring that Phone ! and let the incoming administration Know there is A PROBLEM . He is Pro Cannabis , maybe he will fix it ?? It is suppose to be fixed , with the Temp Registration letters...where the heck are they ?? with more IDPH employees and Less Lag ! The Number of Employees now , each employee has 7 apps a day to do , there is 8 hours in a day , no background checks...should go much faster ! its slow , because They Want It Slow ...Call and Call and Call Again !
Bingo! I don't think they could be slowed down any further. They obviously have no problem not answering the phone.

If they didn't want to be called they would give updates. They have my email address. They have websites they could say what day they're working on.

And if they really didn't want to be called the provisional access letters would be going out by email already.

I haven’t seen anyone less than 10 days
I have seen a few that said they were told on the phone " info sent to printer , 10-14 days " but received much faster 3 or 4 days … but you don't know when they were actually approved , they didn't say , and I don't think they asked , because they were surprised / and was from a legit member/s awhile back … 3-4 weeks ago ?

Exactly! I don’t think anyone has really gotten it in under 7 days since approval! I would welcome 3-4 days and get mine this week, but I think it’ll be 10-14. They have been spot on with days, telling us card in hand at 90, so I don’t see this time getting any shorter

TrailblazerTony said, way back, that based on the dates given to him on the phone by the IDPH folks, his card arrived 3 days after approval. That's the earliest I have seen reported in this thread

It looks like they say your approved and it’s 14 days from the day you call. This does not mean they tell you the exact date your approved and just say 14 from when you call even if your approved before.

I don’t think that may be true. I called today and they said I was approved, but said I was approved on 12/10. And said it will be 10-14 days from 12/10...not today when I called.

I am not sure what you were told is the norm , I think the norm is they follow the script as in when you call " yes , your info is sent to printer , 10-14 days ...yada yada " so , if someone was approved a week before hand , they still follow the script. now maybe you asked , or you got someone that cares , or someone who is new ??? hahaaa
