the lights are awesome. Im sure the igrow compares to the indagro. considering the guys at igrow used to work for indagro.

PM is either because of strain or environment. In cali its damn near impossible not to get pm in flower at one point or another. Our weather is so irradic. Its 80 in the day and 50 at night outside. One day outside it will be 85% humidity and the next its 10%. Unless you have a sealed room and its basically a white labaratory. You will get pm. If you get to it early, its all good.

Trich you dont have a perfect garden. No one does except for nugs maybe

  • Ill keep posting this to anyone who continues to keep bashing vs. actually helping the community. words are words hopefully everyone is smart enough to see that.

Talk about paid faces, these guys are for sure working for inda-gro is it not obvious? This type of thread is exactly why i am going to start my own blog about growing with induction and the igrow induction that i purchased. if you guys did any research like i did you would know that igrow is actually working with full spectrum solutions, who by the way has a pretty good resume.

im sending an email to roll it up, enough of this b.s. this is supposed to be a forum about growing and helping each other grow. Not about posting b.s. about a company you either work for or that you are a friend of. get real.

Hopefully everyone reading this will clearly see through it, im not a genius but pretty easy to see that this is a campaign and not intended to help anyone.

interchangable bulbs...but they are uber spendy.
Hey I know this is old thread but I was wondering if you ever made the purchase nugz?

I have had a 400w iGrow induction hanging in my veg room alongside a t-5 side by side. I just got the light about 2 weeks ago and I was fortunate enough to buy it from somebody who said I could test if for 90 days and if i didnt like it i can return it for a FULL refund. So I figured I might as well...... all I have to lose is some shipping costss....

Its only been hanging for two weeks but i gotta say that so far the side by side growth---

is NO BETTER than a t5 and certainly more expensive.
Hard to say for sure right now but I have a few weeks to keep testing.

currently I have 6 Granddaddy Purple and 6 NYC Sour Diesel clones. 3 of each are under the t5 and the induction. I also have seeds of 2 jilly beans and 2 plushberry that were equal size seeds I had under a t5.. i took 1 of the jilly and moved it under the induction and 1 of the plush and put it under the induction.

its now been 2 weeks...

they are the exact same size. they are under the exact same condtions except for the light fixture and they are performing equally as well.

ill keep everyone updated but right now im thinking there is no reason to keep this stupid ass light.

1 other negative--- the induction light is heavier than a t5... not by ALOT but it is definitely heavier

I'd need to see how it flowers before I made any kind of decision on it , that being said T5's are great for vegging so it might be hard to see at this point.

in a few months I would be happy to fill you in on my results. I just got two igrows', going into a 4x8 tent. also just started vegging under indagrow next to my t5's definitely a difference.

I think induction lighting has its place, like LEDs do, but until the technology improves and prices drop they won't be used much.

i do not believe anything a light seller says, lol, all these videos where they are comparing against HID are just bullshit, I remember watching a shitty LED grow against a HID, this was one of them shitty led UFO things and they tried saying it outperformed a 600w HID on every aspect, bud density, smells, speed of growth, yeild etc. it's just sales bullshit.

until I see many grows with them and the prices drop to reasonable prices I'm gonna stick to my HIDs, the only reason people should be using these anyways is either cos electric costs a shitload or they have a tiny space. In reality the elec costs aren't really relevant, not to me anyways and where I leave its not cheap, but compared to the cost of me having to buy my weed from somewhere else I'm saving shitloads anyways.

HIDs are still unbeatable in my book, if u struggle with temps get air cooled hoods, if have a small op and need to sleep next to it, it's still not a issue, I have 3 RVKs running 24/7 within 2m of my bed and sleep fine. If u have a bigger grow just install a AC unit.
LEDs will be the next major leap for growers I believe, I've seen some amazing grows with LEDs but for that quality u need to spend 1000s still, until the time I can buy a $500 LED unit that could compare to a 600w HID on yeild and bud structure I'm sticking with my HIDs.

id sill be interested to see if u got this light tho Nugs! :)

I jumped on inductions after witnessing what they could do first hand....I bought them used so it was not as hard of a decision to chalk up the $. With that said however, when one really sits down and does the #'s game with cost it is a no brainer....assuming yield is comparable. This is why my first grow will be in a nice controlled environment with close quarters. As far as veg is concerned, you don't really save on watts if your under a 400w induction vs a 8 bulb t5. how ever my bulbs in the t5 are always burning out. $10 a bulb x 8 bulbs, at least once a year does add up in it's own way. I can tell a diff of the vigor of the plants under inductions as well. It's much more lush/ uhh, vigorous....more like an outdoor plant. not trying to pimp em to hard, I still have a room of HPS that does great but it's looking more like a transition is coming.

I got my first induction in May. I am extremely happy with it. I would never use them for flowering unless I flanked them with some red nm LEDs or something to counteract the lack of red-orange spectrum they need for flowering. I bought me 100 watt induction from Inda-Grow in San Diego strictly for my vegging chamber. It has been great.

I grow is the worst light ever. They lie about everything. They are not made in America. According to EPA , its illegal to manufacture flourescents in the U.S. A 250w hps will do better. I grow doesn't have true spd's either. For induction, inda gro and riant is where its at. They are cheaper and have better warranties than igrow.

This thread is still going lol. I figured I Grow / full spectrum solutions would have gone out of business by now.
