If You Flip Will It Hurt Them?

If you have you have Photos and Autos in the same Tent Autos not quite ready and you what to Flip for the Photos.

Will it hurt the Autos?

This is why I don’t do both autos and regs, the auto’s will want less ppfd and longer light cycle (like in nature for autos) , where regs can be flipped from seedlings also but need to be triggered under 14hrs to work. I would suggest if ur got a 2nd room aka veg room to have ur auto’s in veg room cause that cycle on/off is better and also lower ppfd like a auto would like aka light intensity. For autos I would do 16-18hrs, 400-500 ppfd (like a veg staged regular ), also feed light and not top auto’s, also autos hate multi stage up-potting and can make the auto trigger way quicker so I suggest 1-2 stages of pots and that’s it for autos and not to top em

Just do it.

Autos “ already “ in flower with flipped photos will be just fine. I run them this way often .

Autos can also run a good portion of its life alongside early / mid and late stage veg photo plants.

For example : you plant both autos and photos in containers under 18/6 or 20/4 …. They will get their bulk of their size within say ( 6-8 weeks ) about the time you maybe thinking of photo flip. Since autos would be in bloom mode ( around that time ) run them until harvest under 12/12.

You may ( negligible ) lose a little yield but autos are in flowering stage anyways.

Many growers run mixed tents.
