Each time I tried TGA, I only got 3 beans of each strain-tight budget vs. my need for variety. Got 2 out of 3 girls from Jillybean, and 1 out of 3 girls for Cheesequake. The Jillybeans were both very excellent to grow, compact and beautiful. The calyxes themselves purpled on both, very similar structure, aroma, maturation time, taste and effect. I kept them very small, but they yielded pretty well, can't remember how much. The better flavored one was fruity with perfumed accents, the one with less distinct flavor was more potent to me, kind of a neat combo of clear head with heavy body effect, in the end smoked more of the less potent one cause it did'nt make me want to sleep. The main reason I tried Jillybean was for the advertised euphoric/mood enhancer/anti-depressant effect, which I did not sense in the least. Kinda disappointing, but the plant was nice otherwise.
My favorite(in my very limited experience) was the Cheesequake. My avatar pic is a small test bud off of that plant. The top colas looked Exactly like the breeder's picture, which was thrilling to a newb like me. I kept the cheesequake small, so I can't really speak to its full potential, but from the way it stretched a bit in flower to the size of buds it finished with, I can imagine it might could put out some weight. I chose the 'Quake because of the flavor advertised, 'like a grape cheese danish', or something. I did'nt get that pheno, but what DID present itself, I can only describe as full-on ripe navel oranges, sweet but w a little acidity, on the broken up bud and on the inhale, with a little more bitter orange/earthy cheese creamsicle on the exhale. Even though it wasn't what I was seeking, it was outrageously good. The effect was also surprising. I am a light smoker, and tend to measure the quality of bud by one or two tokes, initially. The cheesequake plowed me, very strong, but really well balanced. Distinctly mood elevating, with muscle relaxation, giggly, and somewhat intoxicating in the most pleasant way. When I kept smoking it because it tasted so good, I would literally not be able to see straight, sense of balance effected, etc. It also made skin sensory input very sensual. Absolutely awesome herb. Anyone I shared it with inevitably asks about it at some point, made quite an impression.

I also got 1 female out of 3 sprouted of Querkle, just remembered. I was short on time, so kept it small in a 1 gallon bag. Didn't yield much, was a slow growing plant, stocky w almost no stretch. Had I had the time to let it grow more, it would have done better, obviously. Beautiful purple flowers, VERY dense, with a nice but not remarkable indica stone. First bud I ever smoked that tasted like grape flavored hard candy, fun for the taste alone. While it was decently potent and tasted really cool, I wasn't inspired to give it another try. I have read reviews from others that found a pheno that rocked for them, FWIW. Just my 2 cents more.

Here's my favorite seed of timewreck I've popped. Just super frosty dankness right here. The power of this one is phenomenal. By far one of my favs from the tga family!
nice job brother!
that's the nicest lookin tga I've seen.
I've run the agent orange, jack skellington, querkle, cheesequake, vortex, and the Qleaner.
the best by far was the querkle, dense, crystally, very purple, and a good smoke.
Still not a keeper in my lineup though, but def worth growing.
I was VERY disappointed with the skellington and the cheesequake. Mediocre at best. the vortex and q-leaner were great tasting but not super strong, and not super producing.

I've grown about 7 of his strains and my favorite is still the first one, Jillybean, though I have friends that like Agent Orange and Dairy Queen. Plushberry too, but it has been discontinued. I had a hard time with mold on it.

I have tried a few of the TGA strains. Plush Berry, JTR, Vortex, Dr Who, Qrazy Train, Quantum Kush, Micky Kush, and Time Wreak. They all were pretty good IMO. Depending on what you like is how I would choose. The Blood Wreak or Time Wreak crosses Have some funky smelling Phenos and harder to grow. I really Liked that Dr Who it always kick my ass and from the time wreak cross it is the best growing. Now any thing JTR crossed you can almost count on that lemon lime smell and frosty ass buds. But they don't produce like the Blood Wreak Time Wreak crosses. My self I loved that lemon lime smell and taste but I like how the DR who kicked my ass. Try the Dr Who and if you want lemon lime go with JTR. So many choses not enough room or space. But this is what I know from what few I have tried.

The Third Dimension. 3D pheno I've been breeding; 45-55 days of flowering, many stalked trichomes, with a sativa dominate effect for the high. Harvestable at 40 days if your in a tight pinch.

Honestly if only one type of weed existed I'd want it to be 3D.
I have two 3d that will be ready in 4 wks or so.

Apollo bx or more likely the void..... I tried getting that grape querkle again and I fucked a whole pack of seeds up with high temps during the pre-sex stage and got me a shit load of males n 1 female that I cloned and labeled.... Only 2 months later to realize I culled the female and kept and started growing out one of the males... I stopped popping beans for awhile after that... Still haven't actually, almost a year ago I think but I do have a pack of gage greens "blue in green".... Been wanting to get my hands on a blue dream(ish) strain seeing I kinda liked the strain when I got some from a dispensary but they don't do clones so I researched it and that's what I settled on... It's not tga of course but I've been growing tga since day one which was more than a 5er ago so it's time to mix it up a bit...

But back to the og topic, I keep 2 phenos of cheesequake, 2 phenos of the void, a single qush pheno, and a single pennywise pheno as mothers for years (except penny) and have. been the staple of my garden and will be for awhile..: can't beat the Apollo dominate purple void though.... My favorite.... The uppity ness of it without paranoia is untouchable along with some creativity....

Nice. Mind explaining why you keep two phenos each of those?

And got any pix you'd like to share of those The Void phenos? :weed:

Has anybody found a keeper pheno of cheesequake? I got a five pack and all of them popped. 3 which are short and fatter fan leaves and the other two a little bit stretchy. Any reccomendations for some tga strains I should try. I got an awesome cut of the 9 lb hammer and used to have a great cut of Dairy Queen.

When i ran cheesequake i only got two females both short and fat , didnt keep eaither tho ... i did just finish up on a sonic screwdriver that im curing now.. im real happy with yeild and bud quality i made another post if u wana check out a few photos. https://www.rollitup.org/t/tga-sonic-screwdriver-review-ish.881145/
Your sonic looks nice, I am always willing to try anything from tga. I hope I'm not disappointed with the cheesequake, I have heard both good things and bad things. I have tried plush berry and it was easy to grow and probably one of the best smelling strain I tried. Although it was tasty, it just wasn't potent. The mothertoungue sounds interesting with one of the mothers being electric watermelon.

I'm working on 9lb and Dr. Who right now. The 9lb is resin coated for sure. few hermies but nice bud. Dr. Who just went into flower. Getting solid cuts of cheesequake, vortex, and querkle soon. I just received some Jacks Cleaner 2 cuts and from what I've heard/read this stuff will be great headstash. just gonna keep that one for my own by doing a couple every now and again but i have 3 to start with. The Grape Inferno and Jack the Ripper are the next on my seeds to purchase list

I am finding it very difficult to find that perfect combo: yield, taste, potency in one strain/pheno without hermys appearing.
i can usually find two out of three. the closest i have come was Agent orange, timewreck, 3D, and mickys kush

what i didnt like on what i grew: (of course some of my yield issues may have been my setup/methods)
these were all 5 packs....i highly suggest 10 packs
AO - brownish bag appeal
Chernobyl - potency
Qrazytrain - yelid
Dairy queen - hermy
AOS - taste potency
3D - potency (but all around good strain good day/work strain)
timewreck - thin stems, bushy
Dr Who - taste
pandoras box - hermy, potency
Quantum Kush - yield, taste
Mickys Kush - buds were light as a feather- haze pheno...(crossed with QK so we will see)
sonic screwdriver - hermy

just started Quantum Screwdriver and Grape inferno. and have mothers tongue and space bomb in seeds still

I also had hermie issues with the dairy queen. The pheno that was great though that didn't hermie on me was a tall lanky bitch that smelled just like the description cherry and cheesy, yum! I never held on her and I always kick my self when I am reminded. I really like tga strains with so many different phenos A lot of people hate on their potency but this 9 lb hammer kick everybody's butts. Does anybody see a lot of tga strains at their collective or dispensary's, I hoping people appreciate tga's gear as much as I do. I am really curious on the mother tounge, that electric watermelon sounds so tasty. Also the locomotion looks bomb too, that I don't know any other tga gear with a diesel cut.

I really want Merrion Berry Kush... And It has to be a purple pheno LOL I have sadly never gotten lucky enough to grow a purple plant yet. Hoping my Purple OG 18 from Reserva Privada(DNA genetics) but sadly none of them went purple

how long do you let your 9lb hammer go? Mine i've been harvesting at 50 days so far... i mean it looks done at 42 days and I let it go to 50. I'm buying a new scope here pretty soon so i can do a very thorough scoping. The buds are beautiful!
