I use 4k myself. I like the looks of Gene's results with it too. Cree and Vero's are slightly different if I am not mistaken. One has slightly more blue if I recall correctly. Not sure which one.

The owner of PLC was a business management major with a marketing minor.
GG is a grower....the grower that has documented and tested LED's for years and made it all public for the anyone to use as a reference. And continues to...you think 3500k and 4k just popped into everyone's minds at the same time coincidently?
So when when I put my GG Instagram account with an extra period in the link on accident...must mean PLC is a bunch of fuckers who will provide poor customer service. Was PLC even mentioned on the page this started, or the one before it, or before that...NOPE. Good one guys!

First things first...I have not reported or complained about any of your post. Only responded to them.
I deleted my own post like I said...hyperlink left of "edit" and "report" in someone's own post bro.And then asks for a reason why...and I explained that in my thread...but you wanted to bring it here.

I don't talk about PLC outside of my own thread very much, and when it is, I have never initiated it. Even in mine...it's about my grow. Go ahead and ctlr+F away. You won't find much.
I am here as a grower, just as I have been for years before this. I won't be able to avoid a plc questions here and there, but I don't run with them, and I redirect to the grow as soon as possible, or ignore them outside my thread. I am fully aware of the line I have to walk since I started it. Even before then I was not just a normal customer with apache...and everyone knew/knows that. Never employed, but they are a personal friend whose business(top of the line leds) coincided with my pleasure(growing). But I have always put the grows and results first. Results do the talking. And mine aren't even record breaking. Just solid, consistent, and honest.

So if you want to continue to cry about it then have at it. But I owe you nothing more in here.

Hello lovley people I have a quick question and want some advice from another about this product. It's my first grow and so in the begining while doing research I ended up getting a 1000 wat hid thinking it was probably the best I could get for my set up. I saw led during my looking around but never looked into them simply just cause I really didnt know and they seemed more expensive. The thing about the hid is it's just so big heavy and hot and uses a ton of electricity. Now am I really realizing that led's are the future. So i'm planning on completing this run with the 1000 and then I think i'm gonna sell it to try and get some led's idealy 1 400watt and 1 600 watt or 2 400 watts. I went on ebay and found this light what do you think???http://m.ebay.com/itm/171738956642 the price is definantly manageble so i'm thinking probably 2 of these but I don't know what to look for when looking at leds. They use epistar diodes and you get what you pay for. Why I asked budget is to see how much you can spend on possibly making one or suggesting one that will fit your wallet. Also what size area are you going to grow in.

Tell me what's wrong with this design on the new Mars Pro Series this is the Epistar version they haven't posted the video for the Cree model yet


I'll tell you this it has a remote control lol 1 more thing to break there is no way to turn it on or off without the remote

The thing is you'd need at least 5 of those "400W" to get the same yield as 1000W HPS.

On the Area 51 Website are now 3 options for the W90: 3000k, 4000k, 5000k. I dont know which is the Best maybe 3000k for Vege and 5000k for flower???

3000k for flower and 5000k for veg and 4000k for both.

If I were going for mystery stuff, MarsHydro or Vipar(ebay) at $1 per watt looks better to me.

Also, anyone know of the company that gives you a huge credit, within 5 years or forever, so you pay little to upgrade to latest/greatest as they know the tech. changes, anyone? Thank You.
