Is 600 for 160w not good then
NO
The area 51 seems good bug how come all white not purple
Ever seen a purple sun? the red and blue mix is great for lettuce, not cannabis (not trying to piss your monochromers off). A few years ago when white leds were crap red and blue was king, but white leds have come along way and even surpassed the monochromatics. They are better for viewing your plants also and I like to spend time with my garden so purple is not for me. The white leds are continuous spectrum meaning they have red and blue in them as well as other less important wavelengths but they are all used by they plant in some way, even if its just a little.

So the overall best would be for me to return this panel and get my money back
Preferably you would ask questions before buying a light. Since you accepted the light for a trial period, you might want to follow through with the spirit of that agreement and see how it grows. You'll benefit from first-hand experience.

You could explain to the seller that you accepted his terms before fully understanding the market. That you're inclined to return the light before putting any wear and tear on it. See how he feels about that. Maybe negotiate a 90-120day trial so you could see how the light works in flower (a full grow). Maybe offer $100 to cover wear and tear if you decide to return it after a full grow.

Lets just be clear...red and blue monochromes were never actually king...HPS has always crushed them into oblivion...and still does.
But then some white chips finally came to town that could just about keep up with the real king(at least on a watt for watt level) and were showing great improvement on the so called perfect spectrum R/B's. All of a sudden people saw right throughout the R/B smoke an mirrors and realized that actual output was needed. With some further development...white progressed and have now become total replacer's of hps on every level, not just in some out of context theory(such as chlorophyll peaks).

I agree with az above, always try to ask before purchase.

I have only ever run A51's RW spectrum and DIY Cree when it comes to LED so I couldn't tell you how those lights perform. As for the price, I have always found illumitex too much for me to consider. Maybe @FranJan will give you his 2¢, I'm pretty sure he has some of their F3's in his DIY.

Sorry GG I meant king for LEDs. Some people could never run HPS due to heat and stealth restrictions so R/B were and still are better option than most CFL and non HID setups.

Addition: I was always confused by "led with t5" where people used red and blue t5's. Full spectrum was available and does a better job.

Yes hes given me 60 day no questions asked I started 12 12 the day I got it . To be honest I just went with this panel cause I was In a rush . My ballast was affecting my neighbors cable I had to get rid of it when the cable comp knocked at my door . I was able to meet this guy face to face and take it home the same day . I just dont know anything about led I thought he was being quite honest and backing up his product . I see what u mean as far as returning it now to put less hours on it

What grow space (l x w x h) is she working with?

Amare technologies has a program where panels 2-3 are discounted, PLUS, the 4th panel is deeper discounted

I have 2 of their 150s awaiting my new 32 x 32 x 68 tent, picking it up today

Will be starting a thread for them

Sites' not up yet,

so i have a roughly 3.75 x 4.5 x 8" tall closet i'm looking to switch to led's. I was thinking about two xgs-190's, but then i saw a brand called dorm grow and it looks like it has good reviews, but doesn't say anything about using cree's. also i saw the onyx veg and bloom, if i got both of those i wouldnt want to run both of those at the same time. what would be another good light to supplement with those two obviously another red spectrum? to supplement with the veg onyx? i'm trying to stay at about 350-400 actual draw, is that too much actual draw in the space i have? if so, what recommendations would you guys give for that space? i would rather get more lights to spread the light out rather than one big led light does that make sense? and keep it around the $1000-1200 range.

The XGS-190 is a great choice. Plenty of people here can vouch for them. Two should be able to fit in your space.

I planned to order two more today, but apparently they're moving to a new warehouse and will be out of stock for about 10 days.

I have the XGS and RW. When I got mine "Bad Karma" said he felt RW was the better light because it uses 40 fewer watts to produce the same results. Now that I'm near the end of flower I'd confirm that. When I buy another, I'll go for RW. (The XGS produces just as good. It's not a disappointment at all. But, it uses 40 more watts to do it.).
