If your working with LED's do you need to really have special ventilation, if you have good air movement in your grow area, when heat is not an issue...

Dude those are so overpriced imo. 8 cxb3590's for nearly 2 gs... ya no thx.
No shit, u can get 8 3590's, meanwhell drivers and even come pre wired, basically complete for under 900 on ebay. That's a fancy thousand dollar case. Why people promote these companies is beyond me.

... you gobble Amare's balls left and right... for 16 cobs in the form of pro4s I would have paid a grand total of 100 dollars less. And no cooling. Soooo take your anger that I didn't buy Amare somewhere else.

while CoB only lights seem to grow well, combining them with specific r/b/ir improves on growth, bud development, and quality. Amare has been well ahead of the curve by combining both CoBs and discrete diodes
wrong. warm white phosphor leds grow just fine without supplementation. can they perform better with supplementation, sometimes yes depends, if done poorly it will actually lower performance, especially seeing how white phosphor cobs are now beating monos efficiency hands down.

amare has been in business as a serious light producer long enough.
Why don't they publish how much light they produce or what their efficiency is ?

btw can you stop shouting in blue ? fricking annoying.

gobble balls? Cause I have 3 of them and they work? How old are you dude? I don't give 2 shits what you buy but I do think the thousand dollar case is pretty funny.

Will always have heat with any light. More lights = more heat.
I understand, but heat is not always a bad thing. I guess I am asking in a room with good general ventilation, and heat and air conditioning already going into the room, is it mandatory to have seperate ventilation? I worry more that at where I keep our home temp and with leds not throwing off a lot of heat, it might actually not be as warm as I want...

Guess what I am asking is if you have good airflow into a room and if the room getting too hot is not concern as you have air-conditioning available to that room if needed to keep the room from getting too hot, do you need additional ventilation? The need to vent odors is really not a concern.

Hello,
do you grow in a tent? if yes then you will need exhaust air fan and a other small fan which moves the air for the plants in the tent.

Hi Malocan,
No this is not a tent. Is a 6x6 bedroom walk in closet, with an air-conditioning vent into the closet. I will be growing in about a 4x4 area...

Where do all u guys keep your cloths?
Well this is a 4 bedroom home, one is used as an office, but 2 are unoccupied. I have plenty of places closets and dressers to put our clothes in. I think I had said in a previous post that I could take a room and just use for growing, but using a large closet, seems more ideal and does not waste the space of using a whole room to grow, when I do not need that amount of room to grow. Would prefer to keep the room for guest and family to use when they are visiting... I guess something that seems to me should not be so complicated, well heck, I do not know. I want to keep life as simple as possible. I work, and long hours, want things to be simplified. As trying to understand why I need a separate ventilation system for a large closet, if I do, I do, but I want to understand why.

A 4x4 closet full of plants needs to breathe requiring substantial exchange of O2/CO2 and humidity.
The air conditioning vent while helpful is insufficient because it is controlled by the needs of the rest of the house, not the temps\humidity in the closet. Especially important when lights are on. It would probably be adequate to figure out a way to exhaust air from the closet into the central air system as long as its controlled independently of the house hvac.

Thank you, so then would be easier to do this perhaps in a bedroom where I have a seperate heating and air-conditioning unit as well as exhaust to outside of the home? Where I am at, the air runs pretty much 24/7 to keep the home comfortable, I will just add that, and the air system is kept on 24 hour circulation, so there is pretty much airflow non-stop.

sounds like the bedroom might be better ... hmmm more space!, but it is pretty easy to add carbon filter+ fan to exhaust the closet.

if me I would do BOTH one for veg and one for flower.
