I'm going to narrate the build in my grow journal; won't bother doing that here. Pics for all to enjoy the start of a beautiful journey. My only regret is the PC case size; its a full ATX, but I would have been much better off with a server tower. It's what I had, so yeah. Here we go:

12V adapter wires fit perfectly snug into fan connectors, I never spliced a wire

Hey man I just harvested some chocolope out my PC case. The only thing I would say to watch out for is the exhaust fans. They want to suck the leaves in an end up tearing them all up. If your able to put a same lil square piece of screen on it.

Appreciate it, Ghost - will keep an eye out for that. Hey let me ask you - where did you find that wire mesh for your SCROG? I haven't figured out exactly how I'm going to make mine, and buying a whole roll of wire mesh at the hardware store is ridiculous for the small amount I need...

for scrogs stay away from wire use string you could make a table from 1" or 1/2" pvc pipe use screws at what ever interval going around top part of square table ,,,
If you want do 2" x 2" i use 4" x 4" use string this way when your ready to harvest ,, all you do is cut string and your on plants sometimes buds grow into string ..

Which you can easily pulll out of bud with wire your screwed

Hey Darth, yea the intake fan I have is speed controlled which is awesome. I actually have it on high speed now to see how cool I can get the case because temperature seems to be a challenge (running 80's right now which is a bit hot). I'll lower the speed at night when the lights are off.

As far as the SCROG goes, I'm really limited with space so PVC may not work. I'm thinking some balsa wood with eye hooks, and running string through them to make a grid. I wanted to use a metal frame bc I bought some magnets to be able to secure it at whatever height I need.

you can use hard wood with eye hooks like i do hanging from ceiling fully adjustable 1 x 2

Nice - if I can find a creative way of hanging the grid from the top of the PC case I may just go ahead and do that. Otherwise it may be something that has legs and holds the screen over the plants

Found it at a thrift store lol. Was a basket I just snipped off the sides an flattened it out.
