most of you fucken idiots forgot the whole reason BEHIND the passing of medical marijuana laws in California... for people to have safe access to medicine. I dont really think any one besides yourself gives a fuck if you wanna get rich selling all your medicine to the clubs and most likely public. so really who is the stupid bitch here? I actually use my medical card for what its supposed to be used for... not just another way to try to be a fucken millionaire... I guess all you thought this was the California Bud Lotto or something since prop 215 passed. Its all good though we will see in november.
first off, you make me ashamed to hail from the 707

second, you arent from lake, mendo, sonoma or humboldt county, this i know because if you wouldnt want to hurt your local economy, if your from any of those counties over 50% of the commerce you take in is because of marijuana in some form or another, whether its grow store business, local retailers, restaurants, whatever. its all cash spent by "fucken millionaires"

and last, whose bud do you think your buyin when you go to the club?

your welcome. enjoy your medicine.

once again people go cry and i recieve more infractions, every time i say somthing or ask someone a question someone comes out and wants to argue then report you. I was right i showed you the proof its all over google.
You continue to yap about PROOF yet you're not showing any regarding the tobacco companies purchasing land in NorCal. That has been completely discredited as neither you nor Google have provided any CREDIBLE results. Can we all just agree on that so we can proceed?

How about you actually READ PROP 19 Before you VOTE - Prop 19 DOES NOT MAKE PROP 215 or 420 INVALID! IN FACT it specifically states in PROP 19 that this DOES NOT APPLY TO MEDICAL GROWERS/PATIENTS!

Furthermore: COMERCIAL PRODUCTION IS HAPPENING WITHOUT PROP 19!

Go ahead and vote against it:

vote against the very herb that is your livelyhood

vote against the safest medicine on the planet earth

vote against the millions of lives ruined by marijuana laws everyday

vote against the movement which we worked so hard for 70 years

vote against the OFF CHANCE that you wont make as much money when all likelyhood you will make more and be safer - effectively voting against yourself.

vote against the mother fucking truth that all marijuana use is medicinal

vote against THE PEOPLE

You have the oppurtunity to help change the WORLD, Not just California, Not Just the United States...The fucking entire world...and you want to fuck it up cause of some crazy conspiracy theory and fear and selfishness....

The world has something to say to you buddy, go eff yourself

sorry bud im from the 707 Solano County... and i dont buy my meds i grow em. and second i wasnt saying every grower is a "fucking" millionaire. i was saying its the ones that are trying to be that give legitimate medical growers a bad reputation. now it is NO secret about the local economies and the marijuana money being spent which is more than 50% bud get your facts correct. but it doesnt make it right for people to have outrageous grows that are obviously for money making purposes only. the average medical user doesnt consume the pounds and pounds you guys are pumping out up there. most of your guys marijuana doesnt even stay in the north part of the state very long or even in california for that matter only a very small percentage actually gets sold to the club for a low price. the majority gets shipped into a merky underground thriving marijuana trade that spreads nationwide and your beloved mendo grown is making a killing in places where the marijuana laws arent so lax. now if you wanna talk about local economies i have a uncle that owns a resteruant in mendocino and my cousins a local firefighter who puts out alot of these grows accidental fires. i have cousins that grow up there as well who are for prop 19. I dont agree with the laws but i dont make them... laws are there to protect people ...most of the time they dont in this case they do more harm then good but until then you guys are just making the medical marijuana game a lie. quit fooling everyone and come out for flat out legalization.

i think alot of people dont understand that after marijuana is legalized medical users will be protected reguardless of what you have read or heard.

well this thread certainly went downhill fast... one would expect this level of disrespect from people on espn dot com or something equally silly. but here, we are a community of like minded folks who have diverse tastes, interests and knowledge. we should be using that to educate both ourselves and others, isn't that what separates us from the fear and lie mongers out there? please keep it civil... there are plenty of troll filled flame war sites out there, i for one use this site to expand my knowledge base, and these little petty pissing matches don't do anything positive for anyone but they do drive down the quality of the discourse... i respect everyone here but sometimes it is hard to want to keep coming back and reading the same bs... (as an aside, there have been rumors of "marlborough greens" since i was a little nipper back in the 70's and it has yet to come to pass)... maybe it will, maybe not. it is not the verbiage of the law that concerns me, but the enforcement once it is passed... just my thoughts on the matter...

My garden is 100% medically legit, as is every garden i visit.

Prop 19 would make what i do highly illegal as well as logistically impossible. It would cut the legal grow size to a 5x5 space per property.
Prop 19 doesn't repleal medical law. You still have all your rights as a medical patient. The 5x5 space is the state minimum, not the maximum. Cities and counties can increase those limits as high as they want.

You've been misinformed if you've been told otherwise.

If shit hits the fan, ill smear some on my face,go live up in mendo with the ewoks and stop paying my taxes.:spew:
We all hope for legalization. But must we have such a drastic,
Faustian trade-off for this freedom? And... is it really freedom if we
must lose our autonomy to gain it?

:) No, that would be pretty funny though. All cities and counties have to allow you to legally have a 5x5 grow space, but they have the option of setting higher limits than that. You city or county can set as high of a limit as that want. If they want to let you have a 1000 sq foot grow, they can make local law allowing you to do so under prop19.

the minimum IS the maximum, so for all intents and purposes its capped at 5x5 until its amended. does that really sound good to you? you can only grow 1 plant outside within those space RESTRICTIONS. call a spade a spade.

No, it's not. The minimum is the starting point. When 215 passed many counties and cities increased the legal limits. Still, say you live in a city that keeps the 25sq foot limit. That's still 25 sq feet more than you were allowed to grow before for recreational purposes. It's mind boggling how people are trying to turn new rights into some type of punishment because they don't go far enough.

You'd really think it's worse to be able to grow 25 sq feet than zero square feet? Come on now.

Oakland city council just passed a vote to allow 4 super production facilities,1 boasted to have a 60lb per day capacity. The man behind this is has been quoted saying his goal is to become the mcdonalds of marijuana. This is the same dude who is behind prop 19. Pretty fucking convienent if you ask me..

Who is this asshole and whys he trying to put me out of work?
I dont care if members here judge me for growing for a living.I normaly wouldnt come out and say it, its something that forum folk get butthurt about.

After years of being underpaid and laid off, i decided Id put that unemployment check to use and started growing..and growing..and growing.I make a decent living, save money and do what i want with my free time.. I dont own any guns, i drive the speed limit and i dont associate with any real criminals. I declare my poker winnings and pay taxes on them.

My garden is 100% medically legit, as is every garden i visit.

Prop 19 would make what i do highly illegal as well as logistically impossible. It would cut the legal grow size to a 5x5 space per property. New laws will be put in place to regulate the sale of marijuana, making it illegal to be in possesion of marijuana that wasnt purchased at one of the few monopolized state approved dispensaries.

sounds better to grow under a 100 sq, which i am allowed to do already under prop 215.
with a minuscule amount of documentation from a doctor you can get your card for 120$ GO TO A GODDAMN CHIROPRACTOR AND GET A NOTE..
AND...who cares..its 120$, is getting out of paying 120$ worth all the new legislation, the hiked prices and taxes?

(and whose to judge you if you smoke for recreational purposes)

with that said; why would i support something that comes with a bunch of strings attached when im already smooth sailing under 215?
an 18 yr old can get his card, and buy from a dispensary.
its not new rights being turned into punishment as you so succintly put Dan, we simply dont need it.

yeah and it definitely could not too..

18-21yrs old is the largest demographic of weed smokers, do you really think we need more youth in jail for marijuana related offenses?
right now an 18-21yr old has a pretty easygoing time in california as a stoner\patient\grower; 100$ ticket for posession, no jail, and if possessing a medical card nothing to worry about at all.

prop19 will target that demographic.
this bill is absolutely not an end to prohibition, it would earmark the beginning of more prohibited times.
i dont understand how people can argue that "it would be better than what the laws are now" and "ending prohibtion"
wake up folks

think about what it was like smoking weed when you were 18, (which wasnt that long ago for you,the mac dre pic in your profile is a give away)
this bill is a prohibition against youth.
how can you side with that?
