If I have cvaults, can I skip the mason jar part of curing and go right from hanging to cvault?

As the title says. I have enough cvaults to hold my harvest, and normally i use them for the long-term cure.

If I have them, and assuming I burp it like I would with mason jars, can I go right from hang dry to cvault?

I'll bite, what is a cvault? Disregard, looked them up.

depends on how good the humidity packs are

Once they’re dry go ahead and toss them in with the boveda packs.

I would start them without the bovedas just like you were using jars. If not at least use the 56 or 58% packs instead of the 62s. I've had mold develop using the 62s too soon. I'm still gun shy of using the 62s before everything is bone dry. They claim they are 2 way humidity packs but they seem to add more than they take away imo.

Vaults is an alternative to “ storage “ hence being made from stainless steel .
You will still need to dry your buds FIRST. Each Cvault has a holder for boveda or integra.

They CAN help with some curing but only if you are very close to RH needed. It is actually better for finding out exactly how wet your buds are by loading it with your cut buds and a simple hygrometer without a boveda pack. Open again overnight and look at reading. If slightly high , leave lid off for some time then reseal. ( time varies ) .

The air tight seal is superior to conventional mason jars , plus keeps them in the dark completely.

The addition of boveda is for stabilizing Rh AFTER it is in range and done by normal drying.
There was some YouTube idiot that loaded wet buds in it , thinking it was for curing wet harvest and he blogged the result covered with mold. I believe integra has more RH offerings than Boveda 62 .

Nice BudzB. Agreed. I've seen alot of people using bovedas and integras to help dry and cure. wrong application imo.I only use them for long term storage After I have reached the desired dryness and moisture content i.e. cure.

I treat them like big mason jars initially - put in with pack & hydrometer & check daily(burp) until stable- a lot easier to mix up buds than mason jar to get equal drying surface Have gone from 74% to stable in a few days- Need balance between too moist & too dry. Then great for long time storage.

I know this is older thread but I love my cvaults, I dry normally and store in the cvault but can't beat how fresh the buds seem every time I open one. Someone said they thought it took away form smell, I have the opposite when I open a canister I almost get knocked down from the lovely scent.
