ive heard, leaves near the bottom of the plant turning is to be expected.they are older, maybe served their purpose, or if nutes splash on those leaves often, they can burn. but who knows? this is my first "real" grow. my plants are in hydroton and i am useing technaflora b.c. nutes. my opinion, it couldnt be easier mixing and feeding. i really dont know anything about slow release ferts.100_0764.jpg100_0768.jpg

maybe a good flush and try something different with the fertilizer. maybe just feed ph water and watch close, then if it gets worst maybe it is underfeeding. but if it doesnt get worst with only ph water, then maybe it was overfeeding. but if it is overfeed and you feed more fert, it will prob get worst. be cautious and goodluck.

Probably too late if it's already dropping pollen. I would get it out of there as carefully as possible, by dropping a garbage bag gently over it and its pot and getting it the hell out of the room to destroy somewhere else. Every flower on the female plants that gets a touch of that pollen will make buds with seeds, and those buds will be smaller than they would have been cuz the flower doesn't have to work as hard to get knocked up.

I wouldn't swear to it, but I've been told OVER and OVER that it's normal for older fan leaves to yellow and brown and eventually fall off. My plants are hella healthy and I pull off several leaves a week when it's obvious the plant isn't getting anything from them anymore. I think of them as worn out solar panels.

hey whats going on man? i had a few questions im starting a 150 watt grow with fem easyryders. ff medium, maxigrow nutes and bloom. a roll of mylar, and a 20 inch fan. it will be in a good sized closet 5x5x6. i dont have to worry about being to stealth.does this seem like a good set up? easyryders are a small plant how many can i get in this space with adequate light? how much should i expect to yield dry? please and thank you

I'll help you keep it alive if you tell me what is causing all this yellowing/fading that none of its sisters is suffering from as bad (this one has yellowing on all leaves where the others are slowly yellowing their fan leaves and still seem happy). It looks like some leaves are starting to turn purple (which is something none of the other plants are having)

By the way it looks she is a bit deficient or shes nearing her harvest time. If you have a microscope you can look at the trichs and see if any of the glands are amber (orangeish brown) or white (like milky) or clear. If they are clear you probably have 1-3 weeks left if they are about 50% amber you are nearing the optimal cut time. Watch closely for the next week and if they turn more amber cut when you see the most. If this isn't the case I would recommend cutting most of the more ill looking big fan leafs off and allow some light to penetrate in your deficiency situation and it will allow the buds to get a good max potential. This also allows you to finish flowering without feeding any nasty tasting nutes into the buds before cutting. Hope this info helps. I have noticed some of my Strawberry Wrecks are getting the same thing and I found out it was a color thing and the roots weren't getting enough air either. I fixed that by moving the effected plants to a rubermaid tote and rinsed off most of the soil then transplanted them into a higher % Perlite to soil mixture. Worked out great and shes as green and beautiful as ever. See if that may help.
