Change to the 883 primary, you should be pulling the wheel up in third with ease.

Edit: you might not be able to given the year of your engine.
It started out as a 1988 883. I'm running a 1984 clutch gear and a ironhead countershaft. There is no difference between the 883/1200 in regards to primary from 1986-1990.

As to pulling up the wheel. Yes I can pull up the wheel in the first 3 gears. I can also explode the clutch basket. So I try not to beat it too much.

Wow this thread has run the course hasn't it, it would be funny but for the 12 year old consent thing ..... what the fuck (pardon the pun) is that, Jesus. That's just a very fucked up argument to try and defend, the age of consent varies around the world not based on science but on values, traditions, and sadly economics. In some cultures women are a burden to be unloaded as fast as possible, to put it crudely, when a girl bleeds she is ready to breed. This belief has led to the utter horror these girls face for the rest of their lives. How the hell can you justify your belief that a young child is able to form a coherent thought process that allows them to decide he/she is ready? It is the parents responsibility to instill values that help ground the child, yes making their own choices but this takes time, effort and a little luck to be successful. A child is not able to do this on their own and to argue that they are lends me to believe you are one of the worst types of parent. The parent that believes the child is capable of forming values on their own and consequences be damned. I see this every day when I see a 15-16 year old couple/single mom pushing their baby down the sidewalk, how the hell can you justify this, let alone an adult brought into the fold. Kids rely on adults to help them to build a foundation of trust and when an adult breaks this trust they are subjecting the child to a life of depravation and horror of untold proportions. You sir are the reason this shit carries in from generation to generation. I could go on and on and on but fuck just think about what your saying and how wrong it is ....... fuck!!!!!
Did he admit to it again in this thread?

If not just ask him, he'll tell you straight out because of his bizarro ideology.

I don't know lol. I'm a wake and bake guy and I wrote that after bake, but yes, pretty sure he said if a kid says yes it's ok to to basically rape them, because saying yes means nothing other than they need to have a discussion with adults that know how fucked up that would be. As a father of two girls that are now grown I know they were making bad choices sometimes but I tried my best to help them. I also scared the hell out of them by showing them what became of some people that made bad choices by taking them to a couple of bars I frequented lol.

I only still own one bike in that pic- the little Suzuki

I started out on a 1970 Suzuki 185 2 stroke street bike I bought for $250 from a friends neighbor.

I miss motorcycles. Been a while since I owned one. I had been borrowing a friends dirt bike to blast trails here but he sold it.

The last one was a Yamaha Virago in the Colorado Mountains.

Personally I ride mountain bikes on singletracks for 2 wheeled fun now. I am the only one left in my immediate family not on blood pressure meds.

Just bought this although I did post it in another thread. I took the pic during the shakedown ride on the brand new bike.

Salsa bikes from MN and REI did a great job. Nothing to even tighten on it. :-)

It's a new 27.5" + wheel size with 2.8" wide tires and the modern short chainstay long slack front end for downhills and handling.

Rolls and floats over everything. I feel faster on it than my old Gary fisher cross country bike. Even though it is heavier.

Oh crap. You are right. I was still a teenager and was told the year. But you are right. You got a slightly bigger one. Little bugger was quick. I even rode it on singletrack with the dirt bike kids.
I got the 250 up to 100mph a couple of times, it has a 6-speed gearbox which was well ahead of it's time

I've done 165+ on my ZRX1200

I converted to a round headlight- it's from an old CB750 with a Carello bulb
