if busted, will only flowering plants count?

I know this is probably very different, from police to police, but in general, will most authorities only count flowering plants? What about veg and clones? Unrooted also?
 
It really depends where you are.
In my state they dont care how many you have, they weight that shit. Whole plant weight, veg etc included.

One of my spots got raided back in sept and thats how they did it..

where i live they weigh roots--dirt--and stems and leaves---a plant with no buds can still cost you 1500. per plant -----even if only 1 inch tall
 
It sucks when they count total plants and half of them or more are just clones or seedlings even. I only run 4 plants 5 tops but as a run gets halfway through flowering I got another 5 for the next run and suddenly thats...... Well, I dont even like to think about it.

See if your location cares about plant count over plant weight.
My area +5lbs is a felony

I hit that way before i was expecting, not realizing thats whole plant weight
 
I guess when I stop and really think about it, there gonna hit you as hard as they can, that's there job...

They will try add everything on they can since it looks better in there reports and helps there funding when they say they got a big bust of 20 plants. When only 2 of those were mature and rest were in veg and seedling stages.
And as said most places will weight everything even the dirt and pot. Then value it in the smallest size you can buy, Dont know what they call it over there but over here smallest size is a foil for $20. Which is 1 gram.

You hear it on the news all the time. Where they say they have taken 2 million dollars worth of it off the streets.
When in reality they have only remove 10-20 plants which weighted up to 100kg dirt and all.
 
In Michigan they will count anything with a stem in any pot, even a seed sprout 1 inch tall counts as = 1, and any clones in a cloner, if they have roots or not
 
Yea it's fkn ridiculous the way the bastards will have you hung drawn and quartered for an alleged cache of drugs .........4 flowering plants with anouther 4 in veg and some clones .....
 
Depend on how shady the cops are i guess. i have 2 friends who have been busted in the last 5 yrs or so.. one of them only had dried finished product weighed..they just destroyed all the living plants and threw them out in the woods behind his house, we were able to go there that night and save a few of them..guess they didn't know just cutting it in half and leaving it in a dirt ball wouldn't kill it...:dunce:. My other friend, on the other hand..they were weighing 6" tall plants in 5 gals of dirt and using the total weight of the combined pot/dirt/plant..so he was put up on some big charges ( most thrown out), for only i think he had 8-10 plants..but 40-45gals of dirt has some real weight..

look up your states laws..my states laws are less harsh than Fed so i only worry about Fed limits really, and I'm nowhere near those..
 
in my area you can ask for a re weigh at court at a later date when its dried properly ive seen people do it n get charges lessoned due to less weight
