Ideas To Disguise My Plants

Hey all,

I have 2 autoflower plants that I've been moving from inside to outside on a daily basis to protect them from frost at night. One is in a 3 gallon pot and the other in a 5 gallon pot. Recently it hasn't been getting too cold at night so I would like to start keeping them outside 100% of the time but I need to disguise them.

Ive looked at a lot of information online and Im leaning towards using fake plants/flowers so it doesn't disrupt the roots of my autoflowers.

How would some of you disguise your plants if they were in pots?

All recommendations are welcome :)

Are you hiding them from the neighbors or your parents?

I know you aren't growing it, and you're growing an auto but check out ducksfoot or other stealth type cannabis plants next time in this situation.

Yes you can clip fake flowers to the plants

another option is camouflaging the buckets, and putting them in with other plants like tomatoes and stuff..

If you can put a privacy screen up that would work well to. Or a fence.

Camouflaging plants~ ~ people notice a plant normally because they see a circle of white or orange around it (the pot it is in)
Just disguising the rim can help alot. Burying it or having other plants in front helps. Gluing leaves and stuff to the bucket can help too if it is in that type of area. Think of camouflaging your plants being of something you want to mimic what surrounds it~ you'd be surprised what is possible. Some growers even use a rope and hoist their plants up to trees and lower them down for tending

If I was living with my parents, I think it would be pretty obvious if I was moving 2 large pots in and out of the house lol. I'm hiding them from my neighbors. Just bought a new house and unsure what the neighbors may think so Im easing into things.

I would also consider privacy hedges~ even if bought small , if you don't have a fence it could help!
And in years to come, it will get taller. think about sun location as well when hiding your plants and how the shade will effect them

Good call on the ducksfoot - I'll look into that next time I need to purchase more seeds.

I've been looking into getting some Staghorn Sumac, Lupine or Pride of Maderia to plant in my flowerbeds and potentially put the pots in the middle.

Great idea to disguise the rim of the pot - might buy a couple stone pots to put the pots in in order to make it look more "legitimate".

It may be a little obvious if my neighbors see my hoisting a couple pots up a tree but that is genius if you can do it without being seen. Probably better to do at night.

Thanks for the valuable feedback, Nizza!

My mom used to plant a square of tomato plants and make sure they were trellised. Inside where her plants. Have no idea what they were but they never got higher than the tomatoes. When I was 4 or 5 I would carry water in small buckets for her "tomatoes". I was in about the 8th grade when I figured it out. Never smoked with my parents although now I wish I had. Never saw my parents high or even smoke. I didn't smoke until I got out of the service.

This isn't stuff i've figured out. I'll give mel thomas the citing on this. I read that stuff in his book a while back I thought it was a well thought out chapter

Even 2 autos is going to stink like crazy the last few weeks of flower. Hard to camouflage smell.

when I did a plant outside I chose a short and squatty pheno and I planted a fuckton of sunflower and pumpkins around the area couldn't see my baby pulled about a lb too which was nice. but depends on how your trying to hide it my smell was hidden by the smell of chives and mint.
