Ideas on a new system

the LP's aren't going anywhere.
any system we look to that doesn't include them, fails immediately IMO. gov just aint gonna let that fly.
they do need to change it, where you're not locked into one though. or atleast have you able to sample a few of them, before deciding *maybe each LP could do an intro bag of 1 gram of each strain they grow. (though seeing they can't even supply 1 strain consistently, i see this a pipe dream)

so they'll still be an option for those who don't grow. (and we'll see a bunch close shop i'm sure, once they're not the monopoly they want)

i had a write up about my growing law idea's..
but i find it real hard to draft a med system, when i want a legal system. it's pretty jumbled, so i'll just stick with my LP part ;)
had it where you buy a grow card, say $100 for 10/20 plants (with option of more $ for more plants) just so the gov could get their cut. *20 plants in bloom. no counting of veg plants, that's lame. does it matter if someone grows 100 plants in veg, but only blooms 10? not really.
but i really hate even conceding to that ;)

don't waste your time being sensible

HC did not care before ..they care less now

every" think tank" they have had they have never used any of the valuable feedback

Why can't LPs supply dispensaries? It seems like that's what happening now illegally, so why not let the people that can grow grow, and supply the dispensaries? It seems the best most effective model. If 60 dispensaries are already operating on the lower mainland, doesn't that speak to a functional system?

you guys speak as though health canada is an entity bent on oppressing the masses, and not a bunch of employees who happen to work together and just do what their bosses tell them to for constant fear that their jobs are on the line, or for fear that they will get transferred to a much less exciting job in the government.. health canada is prob one of the most exciting places to work in ottawa..

whats the best program state side for medical only? california? yet again they go by the city/county too
You can have 6 in flower and 12 in veg in cali. theres a list of the diffent regs for each county on calnormal. Most seem to regulate outdoor grows and how many patients can grow in one locatition.

In my idea of a perfect system let the lps supply the rec users.
All the generic over the counter watered down meds could be lps swag for what i care.

And yes i do believe vegging plants should count because they are grown for a reason right.
If vegging plants didnt count everyone would just cycle in 15ft plants every two months.
Now seedlings or clones i agree shouldnt count

Why is that funny? Someone grows the rice and sends it to uncle bens then I buy it. We are talking within a legal framework yes? Actually, I have to go to the store and buy it...but you see my point..

I still dont understand how there are lps that are allowed to grow but arent allowed to sell.
Maybe that a use for those guys.
I mean they would have to creatively donate the meds to the dispensaries i guess

they all want to sell, just have not gotten there yet.. imagine if Hydropothecary guys could not sell on their own, they'd be hooped, at least according to their business plan..

Id love nothing more than to see these dreamers at the Hydropothecary lose their ass.
I dont care if its the best mj ever grown the prices they are asking will never make them a legit supplier.
Thats why i said let them have the rec market maybe it will be like colorado where rec guys pay 20 plus a gram.

I would like the system to be regulated to a certain degree with transparancy on HC side clearly outlining standard operating guidelines for safety, security, code, plant count, etc... To all home growers and DG's. Routine Inspections should be done on a week's notice made in writing and growers should cooperate with the inspection, by providing access to work facilities and neccessary documentation.
Some sort of lab testing should be implemented for DG's, but self growing should not require it.
Certain degree of record keeping and self reporting should be enforced for DG's.
Grow rights should have a two year cycle were growers and rights should be renewed, and insurance premiums proven to be paid.

I really dont think inspections are nessessary once the grow is up and running.
After the electrical/safety aspect is covered then theres no reason for someone probably less educated about mj to inspect anything.
Now if we could somehow come up with a ganja union and let them oversee the homegrows i think more people would be ok with it.

Good point. Bloom box has a co2 system built in?
I have one of these. Used it for a few crops. But seriously affected my sleep thinking about Chinese junk firing on and not firing off. Plus totally illegal if there was ever a fire Id be fugged
Solid state electronic ignition module ever heard of it? U just MIGHT sleep better

IM TIRED OF BEING TOLD WHAT TO DO....
its time to free up this subject...and let those who want to grow
and those who don't....well don't....enough rules and regulations...
the plant is basically harmless,,,,time we look at this the right way...
most would grow outdoors...simple and harmless....
