Ideal room for 1 small/ medium plant?

Hello all, first time indoors for me, I'm only looking to grow one small/ medium plant at a time, what would be the ideal 1-plant set up if starting completely from scratch?
I have a few things to hand, a 200 - 270 m3/h inline fan for example, the room can be built to any specification...

A small tent is certainly an option, however I'm not really restricted by space and I'm looking for an optimised set up for a single plant, will it thrive in a small tent or is something a little bigger a little better, I don't know? I can live in a small space but if I won the lottery I'd probably go for something where I could spread out a bit! I'd like to try out some different strains so would like a bit of scope to go bigger if needed, but the main thing is to try to provide a genuine 5 star grow room for the lucky little seedling (:

One plant will do better in a tent imo but you can give it all the space you want. Just remember setting up a full size room for a single plant isn’t very efficient

If you got the dough or access to larger fans , humidifier, dehumidifier, heater, ac fans etc, and a room go for it. This shit is addictive and you’ll want to expand most likely anyway lol

The tent is more practical for a single plant
Reflective capability and blocking out light already built in
Buy a 5 x 5 in case you want to expand

I wasn't thinking of going huge, probably 3x3 (1m x 1m) or thereabouts TBH, just thought I'd ask around for advice from people with some experience before ending up with something unnecessary/ unsuitable. I thought a tent might be a bit of a hassle to set up without annoyances, and more expensive, it will be a permanent fixture, but it seems there are plenty of fans out there! The space I have is in total darkness, humidity is around 50% and the temperature is fairly stable, at the moment it's 15C but that's after a cold winter, there's good access to inlet and outlet ventilation too... Any real downsides to tents or are they the way to go?

Tents keep dirt in place
As well as water spills…
You would still need to build reflective walls if you didn’t use a tent
Tents the better ones come with ventilation and control wiring ports and also places to hang filters , lights and fans

I've got some leftover reflective insulation material that is widely used in construction here in europe, I thought that would do for the walls, the floor is gravel and can take soil & water etc. without problem, the ceiling (2.1m high) has some solid studs for hanging the lights/ filter already, plus I can put shelves in there for seedlings if needed... the tents I see always seem to have the vent ports in awkward places for my location, but I'll have a proper look after the responses point towards tents. So now the question is, who makes 5 star tents?!!

In Europe :bigjoint:

I noobed out and went five star gorilla. Great tent heavy duty looks new five yrs later but looking back I’d of spent elsewhere.

There you go av3.3by3.3 with a sq300w and a monkey fan and could get as fancy as a acinfinity and get almost or a pound per harvest

You could just say "I want to build this and not use a tent" instead of finding arguments with the many points made by others and the so far unanimous vote of going with a tent from people that have been at this a while....

The cost of building a room that small would be pointless and cost more than what it's worth giving an opinion to help better understand and perhaps point someone in the right direction is why people go on forums

Tents and fans don’t make weight imo
I don't understand what was the point of your comment ye your right it's like saying the absence of the plant neither dosent make weight lol here you got the perfect setup for a beggining to experienced that only wants a single to multiple plants....
