Idea on a 400w HPS Grow Cabinet layout

Hello. I have created 2 what i think is nice options in paint wich explains pretty much what I want to do. I am looking for a stealthier setup than my current tent, wich is 90x90 cm and makes quite a lot of sound. I am planning on having a 400w hps in a cooltube.

Any ideas are welcomed. I am planning on putting maybe 100-200 dollars tops on this box as I have most of the items, what I don't have is the insulated tubing, mylar and the stuff I will need to fit it all etc.



When it comes to ventilation I might go with a silencer and normal ducting, or insulated ducting. What do you guys think is better for eliminating noise?

Has anyone tried insulating ducting - is it flexible in length like the flex-mufflers are? 2 feet muffler can be pressed togheter and only take 1 feet of space. (This is because I wan't insulated ducting from the cooltube and still being able to move it up and down)

Anyone who thinks that a Gentle Typhoon 1850 RPM on 7v instead of 12v would work to cool a 400w bulb in cooltube? Thinking of making a secondary venting only for the tube. The fan gives of a breeze at the setting i wrote. I guess it's probably 40-50 cfm on the setting.

if you go carbon filter then through the cool tube, there will likely be air that leaks in through the cool tube (not filtered) and smell will escape/ from experience. Unless the cool tube is 100% sealed. My hood was 99% and smell leaked out

Well this way the air pushes not sucking through the cooltube therefore i dont think any air will leak on the way out, also that means the warmth wont go through the fan.
