hey guys i was wondering if u put something frozen in the sold at night while flowering to make the buds purple

guess the only way to know is to test your theory. hopefully the cold wont shock the plant and fuck it up

There was a pic in a magazine recently, with a huge sugary coated purple bud, and they said it was caused by the cold temps too.

yea well i know cold temps cause the purple so i will try it with a few plants

i heard putting buds in a freezer for half hour brings out the thc but i have never heard of putting an actual plant in there before :s

i was reading another thread and the guy said something about every nite putting frozen 2 liters of water either around his plants or sitting in the soil...

dunno, ima try it on one for a few days

move to Canada where it gets cold at night then you won't have to mess with the ice...lol.almost every plant I've ever grown gets a bit of purple.

Yes, colder nites can bring some purple out in buds.. The person in that thread would put frozen 2litres of water behind his fan to make his grow area colder... he also said that he has been doing this for some time with no negative results... Im pretty sure that I will be trying this out as well very soon..

if u want purple buds get a purple strain with gurantted phenos
or get a a/c unit
