Well this is my first indoor/ DWC grow, the strain... Nirvana Ice , and it all started when some one threw out this beautiful thing. :idea:. you guys can post a comment at any time.. IMG_20101119_205203.jpg
 
Now were gonna need a light .. I had this laying around 150W hps and a bunch of 26W/ 42W cfl of both spectrum soo it have to do ,chillychill-24496-albums-first-picture854908-dsc02921.jpg no money to spend on fancy stuff yet..:sad:
 
Ok now the cab is rdy the grow area in side is 3 feet x 2 feet x 4 feet
nutes Ill be using is GH 3 part flro. I went ahead and started on some bag seeds for a test run to see how things go. It was a learning experience. water temp .. root rot ( hate that sh#$).. nute burn and so on... After 4 weeks and things under control, and an understanding of what the F I was doing i germinated the 3 ice seeds . 24 hours later all 3 beans had lil tails poking out..*claps* we just pop them right into some rapid rooters and let em go
 
Here we are at a couple of weeks now and all thing are looking good. started nuts at half strength ( what Ive read this thing is a nute hog)IMG_20101119_204904.jpgIMG_20101119_204854.jpgIMG_20101119_204854.jpg
 
Now lets take a look at the roots to see what we have.. The roots have reached the water so we should see a nice explosion of growth soon... They are also nice and white and healthy looking soo farIMG_20101119_205006.jpgIMG_20101119_204947.jpg

hey thanks...well the roots are in the water now so time to make room. here's is a pic of both setups in the cab. The plants on the right are the bag seeds , and are starving for nutes and light, just look at the lower leaves..IMG_20101119_205135.jpg
 
At about four weeks now and these plant have exploded ..Switched the lighting around to 12/12 ( it was 18/6 before) and the hps on ..now well have to wait to see witch of these 3 will be a girl here some pics.. IMG_20101206_201914.jpgIMG_20101206_201900.jpgIMG_20101119_205038.jpg
 
At 5 weeks 2 of the plants are thriving but 1 just seems to be a runt, I don't know why other than being way smaller than the other 2 it seems pretty healthy...
 
At 5 and a half weeks I'm able to sex them. the biggest plant is a girl :clap::clap:, the middle one is a boy :finger: so out he goes, and the runt of the group is a girl to:clap: so 2 out 3 not bad:leaf::leaf:
 
Were now a couple of weeks into flowering, I want the best for my girls and the 150W hps and the cfl while great for vegging wont give my that nice compact dense bud. So I got a 6" cool tube w/ electronic ballest for 250w hps / metal halide ... I would love to put a 400W in there but without some serous venting going in there heat would be too much IMG_20110101_191039.jpg
 
6 weeks in and we have a problem.. the runt is getting nute burn and the main girls has something else looks like mag diff..????IMG_20110114_200637.jpgIMG_20110114_200555.jpg

7 weeks in starting back on nutes at 50% and Epsom salt.. Cutting back more dead leaves..The runt looks a lil rough but still holding its own,
