I think i have 3 choices on where to make my cut. However, i want to use my cut as a Clone. So i know the upper most part (orange) is of the plant is out of the question. Where do you think i should make the cut in order to get a good clone? Im thinking Blue in order to have a thick, healthy, long stem; but man! That's like a weeks Worth of Grow!

what he said^^^ the point of topping is either for space or for getting more top growth area.. topping is as it states, just top it as far down as you want the.. the branches below the cut will grow faster and you will get more tops or you can fim the top and get more tops, if your looking for clones then clean up some under growth that will never produce anything.. just need to give it a few weeks to get a good cut.. i have cut clone as small as 2 inches and used a cloning bucket with 1/2 " neoprene pucks.. so clones can be as small or as big as you want.. like the dude said it's all in what you need..KEEP ON GROWIN.. bb 029.jpg this is a fim or pinck of the TOP,,new pics 006.jpg this is what i got out of the pinch

That second photo with your finger in it, the two nodes directly above it are perfect. Top it so that those are the nodes that grow out, once those grow out then you tie them down to the pots and get a T shape kind of thing going on. The end result is a ton of tops that you can FIM, supercrop, and top to your will and make the perfect plant with a nice canopy. And as everyone else has said, be sure to clone the top after you cut it. Even if I'm not thinking about doing it I make a habit of cloning all of the tops that I made rather than just toss them to the ground, that just seems like such a waste to me. It's a bit harder to get tops to root, but the end result is worth it every time.

For four mains I would top above the second node, just above where you have the red mark. These can be fimmed to create more and more bud sites.
