How are the tanks progressing Meta? I ended up going overboard... I've been breeding African annual killlifish and trading them for gear. So far the tank count is: 3g, 5g, 5g, 5g, 5g, 10g, 20g, 28g, 32g, 40g, 40g, 55g, 60g, and a 100g.

My N. California pond biotope tank - the sunfish are small now but they should get pretty large.

I could not find a source or a grow guide for the little suckers. I found some in the wild once, and they just died. I have very little aquarium experience. cn

Fucking spectacular, gastanker! Love those pieces of wood in your pond tank! I've just been lettingmy corals grow, and stopped really updating when my laptop broke. It's easy to surf RIU from an iPad, but I hate trying to make updates from it. How's the breeding going?

The breeding has been slow due to low temps and will ramp up again this spring/summer. I did get the rest of my tanks filled though. Here's the larger 100g starting to grow in:

New Electric Catfish - I had been babying this guy for weeks at the shop and just had to take him home with me. I have plenty of larger tanks for him to transition to (will get several feet long and be able to discharge 300,000 volts :?)

This is my other recent adoption from the shop. Great eater and no one wanted him. I call him my Half Dome Angelfish

Those plants are fantastic! Everything looks really wonderful! I fixed the laptop, might get some updates here in a while. Finally shutting down my quarantine/frag tank, and I jus thave the transfer the last couple pieces to my display tank.

Whoa! Awesome pleco! I have one that sorta looks like that pattern, but half the size! Lookin' good, clint!

My pleco is about half that size now and if it don`t stop eating my little $5 fishes,...he`s going out on the sidewalk into traffic. He changes into that color too. My panda`s had babies and I found one in the bio-wheel and he ate the rest. He eats my neon`s too.

The tank that my pleco is in happens to by a 36 gallon goldfish tank, with two large goldfish and the pleco. He just hangs out. I don't really mess around with that tank anymore, just my little 3 gallon pico reef tank.

Mine is in a 20. He`s getting too big for it but he keeps the glass and reef very clean. Someone told me I should get the smaller algae fish. you need a few but they don`t grow into giants. I think I`m gonna do that next time I change the tank around. Pleco`s are for huge tanks.

My Pleco's were in a 4foot tank , I had 1 standard and 1 sailfin at one stage , one died of old age i think
i had him for 7 years .
I always wanted a zebra pleco , they look awsome
But i was told not to get one , they are super hard to keep , and only eat 1 type of plant or something .
Not worth the risk of spending $1000 on a 2" long fish .
I did that once , i ordered a aulonocara baenschi cost $160 and lasted 2 days then died .

Yeah, I won't do expensive fish...lol...I've never even had a saltwater fish, was always more interested in corals. You live in AU? You're lucky, you have such easy access to a lot of corals I pay out the ass for here in the states. I love Aussie Acan Lords! Not that I condone harvesting off the reef. But yeah, it's been freshwater fish only up until now. I tried to buy a saltwater fish yesterday, but it wouldn't eat frozen food, and I didn't wanna mess around with keeping live bloodworms. Maybe I'll find one t take home today?!
