I want to grow in doors

I dont have the seeds, i might not even grow due to the feds. but if i did. this is how id do it. can this be done?

get seeds, plat in a cup in fertile soil, water and put it under a regular white soft bulb.... like 5 inches away. would it grow?

No. You'd wanna put them in nutrient free soil. A regualar bulb won't work. CFLs or tubes will work.

No. It would probably come up, but would only grow up, not out . . . ie: very poor vegetation.
You MUST, at the very least, use fluorescent light. MH is better. HPS is considered best for flowering, at this time.

You can do amazing things w/regular 4' shoplight(s) from W-Mart (<$10)
If you settle for this, buy the biggest watt tubes you can find, usually 40W.
I grew this with three side-by-side.
