I used Miracle-gro. Any way to fix/flush?

I made the mistake of using miracle-gro as the primary medium in my soil because I didn't do enough research from the beginning. I have 9 plants all showing burn from it in one way or another, especially when they were young.

Some are doing very well now, but a couple are really struggling. I already transplanted into the pots they will be flowered in and they have been vegging for almost a month.

Is there a way to remedy the weaker plants? Or am I SOL for this grow cycle? I can post photos if asked.

Try flushing them WELLwith just water. I did the same thing early on. I lost a couple of plants but the others survived and grew extremely well. Most of them should recover if you flush good, but don't wait to do it --- do it asap!!!!!

Thanks for the reply.... but I'm also concerned about overwatering. Should I wait until the plants need watering to do the flush?

Flush profusely, do not worry about over watering at this point, just ph a minimum of 2x (3x would be better) your pot size worth of water and flush. Also do not add any further nutrients until they stabilize.

wow guys.... u shouldent flush.. miracle grow contains time release nutrients.. the more u flush the more u release.. gunna scorch the plant

I have heard that as well. I have never used it or ever will, but it sounds like a damn if you do and damn if you dont.

i tried MG moisture control for my 1st grow, same time release nutes
flushing here is usually bad, as in roast your plant dead from fert burn bad
some claim they have done it, i tried just that and it made things worse
the plants that are doing well, don't need anything
your sick plants, well you might want to transplant, it's the surest cure

Thought flushing mg just made it release more nutes
Yeah, in hind sight I suppose "timed released" actually means moisture released so flushing sounds like a bad option.
Transplant into a "cooler" soil or as previously mentioned press on with what you have but add NO additional nutes.

Yea, Miracle-gro has these gelatin-like spherical capsules that burst when wet. I'm not going to flush for fear of making it worse. I've also developed a minor fungus gnat problem from overwatering when they were young (which is also why the older leaves look damaged even on the better plants).

EDIT: I have not given them ANY nutes at all yet.

This is my first grow in almost 10 years and I've made a bunch of mistakes. I think I may just cut my losses, start flowering and hope the weaker plants are the males (but if my first grow is any indication, the best looking ones always grow testicles =[ )

attached are some photos.

NOTE: They are all tied down for LST to varying degrees. The best plants would be at least a foot by now if they weren't tied down.

leafburn.jpg and wholeplant.jpg are the same plant that's doing the worst at the moment.

transplant.jpg is a plant that was doing even worse that I transplanted 2 days ago. It has since perked up a lot.

The other photos are ones of the grow in general.

Over watering might be your problem. just got to much going to fast. make sure you let them dry out between watering.

think I would want to get some health going before starting flower. I'm not real fond of mg, But I would want to veg till I got all the mg nutes out of the soil.

they are overwatered to hell mate... wouldnt flower them till they recover and as stumps states, might be better to wait till all the Mg nutes are gone.

Not much nute burn going on in them pics, all looks to be overwatering.
