I think my seedlings might be already dead

so I germinates my seeds last week and planted them into rockwool on Sunday. Since then two of the seeds have sprouted but really are just barely above the surface. My temp is at 80 and my humidity bounces between 70 and 50 through the day. I'm using cfls for light.

Like I said though, I think they may already be dead if not very close. I decided to sacrifice one of the rockwool cubes today (one that hasn't sprouted) and the cube was bone dry. I know you are supposed to refrain from overwatering but I think I might have taken that too literally. The root of the seed was also green which can't be good.

I've already chalked the other two unsprouted seeds as lost causes, but is there any hope for my two sprouted seeds which since popping above the rockwool have not grown at all? I watered them today.

Is there a good way to water rockwool too?

yeah I split one open, the seed was near the top, my concern was that the rockwool was completely dry. The seeds where G13's, free with my nice seeds. I'm saving my nice seeds for when I know better what I'm doing LOL
