I THINK IM FUCKING UP

I need help anyone that have growing experience because I am a first time grower and wanted to use DWC but I believe I should’ve used coco please anyone help me!!!!!!!! And the fertilizer I’m using is big bud I need to know if I should use my micro grow and bloom nutrients now or it’s too early

Nutrients should be available to the plant at all times in DWC.
I suggest hand feeding from the top until the roots reach the reservoir.

Your using big bud, but your plant has no buds on it?

Your plant is fine. But it will not grow much beyond this point unless you feed it.

Read the instructions on the bottles. Start with 1/4 strength. Your ec should be .5 or so not including your starting water ec.

Your nutrient solution should always have nutes in it doing dwc.

Go to advanced nutrients web site and look up their feed calc for those nutes.

So should I still do top feeding or just add it to the water

This is what I got so this a chart I should be using?? Then my water temp would be around 80F but the honestly highest was 79F and my humidity be around 51%-65% and that’s at night am I cool or should I relocate my tent to somewhere cooler cause I’m using my bedroom

I can tell that most of your net pot is submerged in the water res......that being the case you probably won't need to top feed.
Once a substantial amount of roots are hanging down you can lower the height of your water level to just below the net pot.
And yes you need to add nutrients to your reservoir.

So I am ok for right now then?? I just change the water and added my nutrients for the week and I’ll keep you posted and thanks for the help and hope to have you for the rest of my grow my guy

From what I've read from Micks threads he's the shi* on DWC really has it together you follow him you will learn a abundance of knowledge from him grass hopper!!!

I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I haven't grown in DWC in 15 years. I only know enough to be a little helpful occasionally.

There only other thing I will add at this point is if you're bucket doesn't have a level tube attached to the side get you a 1/2 inch bulk head fitting from Amazon and put one on it it will make things allot easier on you...

Hell man I work on the average of 10 hours a day 6 days a week growing relaxes the hell out of me I have coffee with my wife and babies and feed them in the morning then come in and greet and feed them in the after noon then chill and reap there benefits... Lol

Yeah do that but start with 1/4 of that and see what you get.

Also water temp? 80f? Water should be under 70f.

I've seen these leveling tubes but my concern with those is light getting to the water in the tube then creating algae? does this happen?

Over time yes we take and clean after every grow and run a high chlorine rince after every grow to kill anything unwanted bacteria that may have growed 14 min of that then drain and rinse and start all over again...
