i recently topped my plant, AND put it in a new pot. i don't know if this was the wisest idea to do both things to my plant at once. i attached some pictures below....doesn't it look kind of sick, or do you think it'll be okay? it's a purple kush. let me know what you think. thank you!
 
hhahaahha i know, i felt so horrible. i felt like an abusive alcoholic father, beating his child, then sending him to an orphanage...i hope he can survive...
 
what about the yellowish brown leaves that are like falling off at the bottom, is that okay as long as the rest of the plant is healthy?
 
Looks like your soil needs a lot more perlite, be careful how much water you give it, already looks like it might have been overwatered. the plant should pull through just fine, takes a bout a week to get over stress, then its back on track.
 
didnt even notice the perlite, good call. ya, def. be careful how much water you use. and i probably wouldnt use nutes yet either

man thats lookin NICE! my plant's gettin ready to go under the big light here in a couple days. it's just under two 15w flo tubes...it's gonna take OFF once it gets under that thing. also...after topping the plant...how long does it take before it starts growing again? is that like what you said before that it'll be stressed out for a week, then start growing? so a week?

okay, and now a couple more questions, and if you can answer these, i might be done for the day ahhaha...

okay, first...someone told me that it looks to be lacking in nitrogen and i should get some "fish emulsion" what the f is that, and how much would i use in water? or should i not use nutes like someone else suggested?

lastly....what is perlite? does that dissolve into the water? if someone can answer these questions you will put my paranoid frantic mind to rest.

okay really lastly....so it could be from overwatering....should i just take a couple days off now from watering?

it doesnt have to be fish emulsion any nitrogen boost will do perlite are those little white rocks they add airation to your soil take a few days off on the water
 
so do i need to put that on top of my soil, or how do i add it to my soil now? i JUST transplanted into this pot, so i'd hate to have to change the soil now to add perlite, so i was wondering if i could put it on the top. thanks for the advice on watering, i'll take a couple days off. also...dig the pink floyd back catalogue...i have that poster on my wall :bigjoint:
 
i hope HE is a she also....is it too soon to tell? and now i'm screwed about the perlite...son of a. maybe i need to do the fish emulsion thing. does anyone know anything about this stuff?
 
if your woout overwatering just dn't water until your soil is dry check by putting ur finger in the soil about an inch and a half down if its bone dry then water simple or buy a metre u cud get one tht tells u ppm aswell
 
you don't have to get fish emulsion for nitrogen, don't get any miracle-gro but maybe look for some organic veg nutes whereever is close to you.. after topping a plant the 2 new shoots start growing almost immediately.
