okay boys and girls I went out and bought a T8 flourescant bulb setup, the fixture is a 2 bulb holder and i have 3 of them, so i have 6 6500k, T8 48" bulbs, in 3 diff fiztures... will this even grow my plants??? please tell me I messed up cause i recently had 5 plants go male on me, they werent femenmizd cause i wanted to save cash apparently it was a waste of money. help me?

You can veg under the fluros. No probs, put more plants in if your using the same seeds to get more females.

I germinated 5 seeds out of my 20, and 5/5 were 100% male in 40 days without going into flowering first, is that fairly normal time to show sex?

Pics are good! m/f ratio is luck of the draw. I always plant more than I need to make sure I get enough females. I have been told by certain breeders that their seeds will produce more males if temps are up etc but decided these were excuses for poor quality genetics as I had other company seeds right next to them produce almost all females with temps hovering around 78-79. what are you going tot flower with? good luck

Yeah, those light will work pretty well, I vegged under T8's for quite awhile, and was quite happy with the results. They grow a little slower than say...T5's, but still, you will end up with nice bushy, compact, plants, nicer than many of those I see grown under CFLs. Just keep 'em close to the plants,(within an inch) and you'll be fine.

damn man, then what the hell made my plants go male. 5/5 is just too many. If this time I get 15/15 males im taking my setup out back and taking a chain saw and a bulldozer to it FFS!
