just open your bottom vents a little, turn your fan on, and dial it up till you start getting a little negative pressure, then leave it there. i leave mine running full for an hour or so after the lights go off, to prevent a big RH spike, then i turn it down to about 20%, kick it back up to full when the lights come back on.

The reason I'd pony up for a variac (and low-current variacs aren't badly priced) is efficiency. A potentiometer hands some energy off but wastes the rest. Long-term a variac will save electrical expenditure.

Paraquat was deployed in 1976. It had been tested at length since 1974 (I was several years in college by then). As long as you keep lying and pretending without letting these poor newbies know they are listening to someone on his first grow I'm going to keep this up.

How did I know about Paraquat? I'm a pilot and regularly flew to Central America. I saw the planes and had friends that carried it.

Most of these guys are very young and are financially pressed. These grows mean a lot to them. So stop posing and lying. Risk your own grow on your ideas.
