Info-

-Plants are 8 days old from seed.
-Watered every 2nd day if dry. Plain water.
-Soil medium is 1 part top soil, 1 part "expert gardener perfect mix .10-.08-.06" and about a tablespoon of blood meal. (its all mixed in a rubbermaid tub and used in my small pots I do not mean a tablesppon of blood meal per pot!)
-200w cfl 6500k about 4" away
-oscilating fans
-24/0 light
-3 different kinds of bagseed

Ok so yesterday I noticed a tiny bit of yellowing on 2 of my plants so I started digging around for info. I realized my tap water was a ph of 8.

So I used distilled vinegar to bring the water down to 6.5 and added about a teaspoon of bloodmeal to 2 cups of water and watered my plants. (I figured that they were low on N)

So now they have yellow/orange tips and look much worse than they did yesterday.

I think I burned them!!!

Ok, I tried harder and got some way better pics of them. My tiny ones that are only 3 days old were not hurt at all... so weird.

i think bloodmeal being organic would not of burned them....i could be wrong lol cant hurt to flush them out being they are still small....just to be safe

Peace

Any tips on what could be wrong with them if they arent burned?

These things were growing so fast and looking so perfect and in 2 days they are drastically crapier looking.

:(

Ok I mixed some soil from a pot with distilled water with a ph of 6 and let it sit for an hour then tested it.

PH 8.2!!!

I just flushed the shit out of my plants and the last water coming out the bottom measured PH 6.8...

They are looking like total shit now and I really hope they recover.

:(

So the only thing I can think to do is make a ph ballanced mix of soil wait a while for them to calm down then transplant them into it.

Rule number I don't recall: Don't continually screw with them.

Rule number whatever: Don't transplant anything that isn't root bound.

Leave them alone, they will recover if you fixed the ph with the flush.

Too much messing around with them will just make them worse and worse and worse still until they're dead. A transplant now would be risking murder.

Thank you!
What do I watch for now? What are the good signs/bad signs...

your already worrying too much...just keep an eye out for the new growth....healthy & green...your old leafs may not ever recover and may eventually lose them...concentrate on the new growth...this is where yours signs of trouble are over

Peace
