I think an Important distinction needs to be made

I am new here so I have been trying to do a lot more reading than talking. I have been gardening for about 5 months. long enough to see success, but I certainly don't claim to know everything.

I have been reading a lot about the use of products like florashield, H2O2, and hygrozime (sp?). It seems to me that the distinction needs to be made about organic and non-organic nutrients. products like florashield and H2O2 are good for non-organic nutrients because you don't need the good bacteria to break down the more "raw" nutrients found in the organic nutrients. Gardeners using organic nutrients however, would want to avoid using flora shield or H2O2 because they are trying to create a balance of bacteria needed to breakdown the organic compounds.

As for hygrozime in my experience it seems that it really does clean the root system of dead and decaying root mass. I have two plants in week 3 of bloom that would not be as healthy as they are now were it not for this product. On the other hand, had I known more about H2O2 the root issues I have experienced may have never gotten as bad at they did.

I am currently using FF nuts. and have decided to move to another product that does not have any organics in it. I am trying to grow healthy plants from top to bottom. IMO this is a simplification.

Do any of the more experienced growers concur with any of this...

also does anyone have any thoughts about res. temp. in organic vs. non-organic?

Thats why i use Aquashield formerly hydrogaurd by botanicare, its uses beneficial bacteria. I think you can grow the same plant in chem or organic, chem is just harder to get the same results as far as taste and smell. Chem nutrient res can have higher temps than organic in my experience. If im going chme i use my water straight from tap, i like the little bit of chlorine.

Technically you are correct....chemical fert's CAN kill helpful bacteria...but here's the catch... only if you OVERUSE chemical fert's will this happen. that's the main problem with weed growers...they use too much...too often.

When used CORRECTLY ... no problems...except getting more mason jars because your yield has jumped 30%.
