I stumbled on a good trick!!

Had to pull some plants because of storm damage last week. Since it's just me and a couple pairs of Fiskars I couldn't get to all of them as quickly as I would have liked, and did not like how they were drying up before I could get to the trim.

So I cut the branches, and stuck them in vases of water. The leaves perked right up and made my trimming a whole lot easier. And since I had to take them in a little early, I can't help but think they matured a little bit while I took my time. And such a lovely bouquet on the dining room table!

I'm a newbie, so don't know if this is a thing the rest of you do, but for me it was a 'necessity is the mother of invention' kind of revelation.

Happy harvesting y'all !

it has become quite common over the last couple years..... works well for most :)..... I don't like the extra hassle and would rather stick to the "trim it as it comes down" method..... kind of motivates me to get it done...... less work in the long run for me..... to each their own ;)
