Talking to some of them is indeed talking like sheeple, and they tend to get angry when you point out their blind adherence to the herd mentality that they have adopted. Of course, my opinion on that is they need to change the truth if they are so offended by it.

Anyway, welcome and good cheer.
just because someone doesn't agree doesn't meant they are blind. you're a sheep for following the non sheep. your just going into a different barn.

Not all the time, of course not, but many times people are guilty of just repeating what they hear, or interpreted it as, instead of taking a moment to think about what they are hearing.

I like this thread minus the hostility, but the dudes use of the term sheeple is relevant although borrowed from the late great William Cooper. If any of our members are inclined to do a bit of research I think Mr. Cooper puts it best in his book Behold A Pale Horse and in his lecture which can be found in youtube. I'm not even including the links in my post because the "sheeple" need to take the red pill and see how deep the rabbit hole goes for themselves. The truth might not be easy to digest, but it is the truth nonetheless. For me...i'd rather face the ugliest of truths then to be led astray by the most beatiful of lies.

what... huh?

What people accept as truth is subjective. Because you believe it does not make it so.

Truth exists, regardless of your perception... and to imply others are asleep while you are wide open is arrogant... and typically inaccurate.

Did'nt Jesus say something about seeking the truth through him? Of course I could be wrong, but to me the truth is the truth period. For instance 1+1=2, which is an indisputable fact. The earth is not flat it is round, another irrefutable fact. I forget the name of the guy who first proposed that the earth was round, but I'm sure he was ridiculed until he was proven right. Now we all know undoubtedly that the world is round. Don't we? Or shall we make an argument of that? Like it or not many people are asleep and are sheeple.

Your perception of dimensions is not fact. It is your perception of truth. Your senses fool you.

I love that you bring up Jesus in a discussion of "facts". It demonstrates my point so much better than I could.

who are you talking to? if it's to anyone here you are being really rude about it.

welcome to rollitup.
I call a Plant.

I also have read the bill, and find it very funny that you don't say anything specific about why you feel this way.

And then you link that joke of a site.

I think that you are someone that is going around and writing this on any blog site you can find.
What's so funny about that not talking about feelings? You sound like my girllfriend right now. I'm not here to be emotional and get sentimental about things. Just here to spread info. What you do with it is completly up to you. Not surprised at all that I drop some real shit on you.... and I'll you can say is "you find it very funny"? Hence the word "sheeple" ladies and gentleman. You want to get a laugh out of the crowd and make it seem like we can joke and laugh and this will go away. Well not this time my friend. I wish it were that simple. Again, do your homework u don't have to take my word for it. What do I know.... I'm just a guy who actually read the bill. :o:?::?:

Actually the Greeks were the first ones to hypothesize that the Earth was in fact a sphere, and no, he wasn't ridiculed for it. Of course, he actually got off his ass, made measurements from Athens, and from Alexandria that demonstrated that the world was indeed a sphere. He also did the math to estimate the size and came up with a figure that was with in 10% (maybe even closer) of the actual size.

Religion, Government, these are two words that are most inhospitable to freedom and liberty in the human language. The first demands belief in the unprovable, and the second demands belief in distortions of the truth. Neither offer rational explanations, or provable theorems for their plans, but instead ask that you believe their lies. If you refuse to, you are labeled a traitor, blasphemer or heretic and locked up, ostrascized or killed.

Based on the fact that both "organizations" operate on the same methodology who could offer their whole hearted support to either one?

Who, knowing that the church specifically chose what gospels would appear in the bible, can trust that the church is telling the complete story, and sharing it?

Who, knowing that the government routinely operates in secret, and refuses to divulge all of its activities and plans to the people that it is supposedly "protecting" can trust that the government really is interested in the best interests of the governed?

The uneveness of the surface is marginal compared to the actual size of the earth. Less than 1% in general. Actually, I don't think there are any points on the planet where the distortions of the crust exceed 1%, and thus it is reasonably accurate to say that the earth is fairly uniform in its roundness. Of course, that ignores that it is a spherical obloid, but round works just as well for a simple description.

Round:
1 a (1) : having every part of the surface or circumference equidistant from the center

The circumference of the earth at the equator is 24,901.55
The circumference of the earth at the poles is 24,859.82

The earth is oblate, not round.
