I need some input on a micro hydroponics Idea

I just order 400 mh hps system and my grow tent will be in an ac room plus I bought an easy cool reflector. I will post pics when Im all set up.
 
6" inch what I like about it is I can take off the glass have air blowing on the light to kool it but then have another fan using the other end for exhaust for the room. I am buying 2 6" boost fan 250cfm a piece. Then I might use my 4" that i have for my cab now as an intake so we will see what happens I know I am shutting everything down when lights are off except my air pump. Sorry for the hijack SOME.
 
No problem. I think you guys are the only ones trafficking this thread anyway...lol. Im just doin my thing and it keeps doing its thing:)

So you are not keeping the glass????

It seems to me the best feature of these air cooled tubs is the fact that you can isolate them from your grow...

I would keep it sealed... and run a fan straight through it.... fresh air through the reflector and out the grow space...

Then use your other fan for exhaust...

You really don't want to blow air across the bulb and into your room...

So keep your intake/exhaust separate from the light.... use a thermostat and the temps will kick the fan on/off.... and the hoods fan to come on as the light comes on and off...

Does any of this make sense to you?
 
Oh ya makes perfect sense I also have odor issues. I have a 4" 80 cmf hooked up with a DIY carbon filter which is working alittle. I Bought one 6" fan today hooked it up to the light tent was pretty stable around 85 for about 45 min before the ligths kicked off. It just seems like a waste if I can't use one of these fans to help exsust the room also. I don't no what I am gonna do just yet. I think they have 6" fan with t stats that would probably be good for intake and leave the exhaust running with a t fiitting on it one for the light and the other to the room then adding a filter on the end of that. ahhhhhhh way to much to think about right now.

Well... Im not a 100% on that..LOL I read Stinkbuds thread and he flushes for two weeks. Ive heard one in hydro is plenty. I think I am going to wait till they look mostly done and flush for 10 days.
 
Some it seems like the word is a 10 day flush with ph'ed water but, you can use clearex? how you gonna dry I am kinda limited for space trying to get some ideas.
