there is like a 10 to 1 ratio of people germing then sprouting there seeds with soil. i have chosen to use rockwool and transplanting them to cubes. it has been over a week since i placed my cracked ww and chiesel seeds in the rockwool. i could see the top of the seed so i pulled apart the rockwool to see if there was some root growth and the chiesel has a taproot the size of my fingernail and the ww just popped his root out. i transplanted both of these to new rockwool cubes and sprayed a little of my nutes as my feeding schedule tells me too.
i have no idea when is too long to wait for these ladies to sprout. its been about 9 days now and nothing. is it safe to assume that if they have roots that they are still in process, or is that not the case whatsoever? i understand the concept of root rot but only understand that being an issue later on down the line. not sure if this is too long or what. i have a journal entitled chiesel and ww first grow. if anyone can contribute some advice to this worrisome stage, i would be able to sleep better. thanks!
