I Need Help!

What would happen if you took 2 different strain plants side by side and spliced the stems together?

I know it's possible to splice a cutting onto a rooted plant, but splicing two rooted plants together is a completely different story. I don't know, look into it further.

Sweet I'm going to try it with some bagseed I'm growing. I'll try and splice it with either a sweet purple or a pineapple express. Or I'll splice both a sweet purp and a pineapple exp cutting onto my bagseed. I dunno I'll have to plan this one out. + rep!

So my whole idea initially was to bend two side by side plants towards eachother and graft the plant tips together. I want to see if the side branches would grow upward like individual plants with two separate root structures. I dunno....Martin Luther King had a dream and goddamn it so do I hahahaha

And if that works I'm gunna graft cuttings onto the branches. It's going to be a crazy experiment.

Grafting cuttings onto branches is entirely do-able. It's a great way to have multiple strains on a single plant.

grafting one plant to another wouldnt have any more benefit than having 2 separate plants

It's not for beneficial reasons, just curiosity. So if I grafted a different strain onto each branch of a plant with a good root structure then budded it, would it make a bunch of different strain buds or would it make the same kind of buds with properties from all the different strains combined?

dif buds per branch. the clone retains its genetics no matter the root system

grafting can be done on almost any cloneable plant

Here is a question.....what would happen if you grafted an auto-flower strain onto a photo plant? In theory you could harvest the auto part and then 12/12 the photo sensitive part to get more buds shortly after.
