I want to buy a hps bulb.....but where can i find a socket are adapter big anough to fit it???

where ever ur buying the bulb shuld have the stuff u need to light it up right?

what are you putting the bulb in.you can get the sockets at any lighting store,and some hardware stores.

You do know you need a ballast? Not just wiring a bigger socket into a lamp.

man what the hell did i do.. what am i talking about.... imtalking cfl's and flo tubes. shit thought i waz in the other thread sorry forget what i said.. ' and yes you need a ballast for that bulb not just a socket.....

actually its more like 250 to 400 for a 400 watt hps. It depends on what kind you want. Second thought I might have seen a ballast kit for 60 to 100 somewhere. I have never bought one I got mine from my brother. Now if I ever buy one it will be 600 watt switchable.

wow..so for everything im lookin at 500 are more..dam i can use that money to have an army of girl in my back yard
