I need help with 6 ft plant.

I have a 6ft plant with a 400w hps above it and it's not enough light. now I am looking for a way to make more light. I need to know what light bulb I could buy from walmart that could help out my hps in flowering stage.

get some cfl mate.. side lighting to help out the hps..im using 600w with 2x 300w cfl as a suppliment. imho.

get around a equal number of red and blue spectrum cfls for sidelighting. get as large of bulbs as you can or get more smaller bulbs. surround the plant with the cfls arranged so the whole plant is bathed in light. i'd add at least a few hundred watts. on another note- have you considered switching to a high output blue spectrum enhanced hps bulb? it outperforms a normal hps bulb quite a bit and you can get them for around $30 online if you look around a bit on googles shopping search option. it lists prices from lowest to highest if you adjust what it sorts by so it makes it easy to feel out where the prices are on them. ebays a good place to look too. www.htgsupply.com has one for around $30. thats what i payed for my last one(shipping included).

yeah get some 2700k cfl's for side lighting. Or upgrade your HPS.

Or better yet, supper crop the plant. Build a 3x3 scrog fence, and scrog that M.F.

I moved and didn't want to transport my 5 foot super lemon haze mother, gave it to my neighbor, we setup a 3.5x3.5 scrog screen, and he harvested 400+ grams off a 400w light. I was very impressed.

i have a 6 foot mowie that a friend had to get rid of. week took tow days and slowly bent her over to about three feet tall. We built a 2x2 foot 1/2in pvc frame and built a screen using twine with about 2x2in squares. set it over it and kinda scrogged it. anyways i have a 400 hps in middle of y bloom room with a big octagon reflector. to add a lil more light over the scrog I hung a shop light with two natrual light bulbs directly over it. the girl is getting all the flourescent and a bit of the hps and is doing wonderful. I counted 63 nice buds popping thru the canopy and seems to be doin awsome with about 5 weeks to go till harvest.
