I need help choosing a tent and light set up......

I am needing help on what tent and light set up I should use. I have been looking at these choices. I can go with a 48x24x60 tent with a 4ft x 8bulb T5 and scrog 2 plants maybe even 3. The light would cover the whole canopy. I also been thinking of going with a 48x24x84 tent with a 400watt hps and just doing a 2 plant scrog. Which do you think is better? I will be ordering my items soon and I just wanna spend my money wisely.

if you buy the small one you will only want to upgrade in a couple months or sooner. go with the bigger choice. if you were to choose a 400 watt i would go with one that is square rather than 48"x24". a 36"x36" is going to take the same space but would be more efficiant use of the light.

Thank you for the reply. In a 36x36 how many plants could someone scrog in that size tent?

i have never tried the scrog techniche but i am flowering 6 plants in a 4'x4' space and it is really crouded i will do 4 next time. i would go for 2 with longer veg or 4 if they are smaller.

So out off these 2 tents. Which would be better with a 400watt hps light? I wanna scrog my plants. So how many plants could someone scrog in a 32x32 tent or how many plants would you put in there?

Would it be better if I just bought a 24x24x60 with a 400watt hps and just scrog 1 plant? I am buying my items friday, so thats why I am asking. I wanna use my money wisely. I dont wanna buy a tent and light. Then find out its not what I should have bought.

i think three quarters of the tents are exactly the same the only ones that are different would be the US made ones. the cheap ones work fine as long as the zippers work well. i would buy whichever has better ratings from users.

definitly 2 nice bushy plants will fit well in that space and with the scrog style grow.

i would go with the bigger tent as close to 3'x3' as you can. the light will cover the space so may as well use it.

the 32"x32" sounds nice. with a scrog to get the light close you could get nice plants. anything less and i have a feeling you would have wished you went bigger.

ok thank you for the replies. That size tent and light would need a inline fan and filter. What size fan? I was just curious if a 4inch inline fan and filter would work?

The most efficient setup is a 5x10 tent with 2000w. 4x8 is good for 2 or 3 600w. 4x4 is good with a dimmable 1000w.

I pull 2.5-3lbs with my 4x8 and 2000w. I pull 3.5-4.5 with my 5x10. Peace
