So what is the best method of getting bubbles in my res?

Is one way better than another?

Some guys had mentioned to keep away from the submersible pumps as it heats up your res?

Or would just the normal pump and a few big air stones work best?

Just wanting to know how the experts get bubbles in the res:bigjoint:

I use the one on the bottom. There are expensive diffusers that are even better. Read the link below for some details.

Nice one Illegal Smile, thanks for your input. Im planning on using Epix's All-in-one system...so need to get bubbles in my res...just wanted to know what was the absolute best way...I dont want to buy something to find out it doesnt suit my needs (as you can prob tell...i have never done anything except soil before).

You mention a sub pump...would I be best with an inline since it want heat up my res?

I will be sure to buy the big air stones instead of the others like stones attached to plastic etc

Not familiar with that system. If it involves pumping water up, I recommend you think about it some more. I'm a fan of simplicity with as little frankenstein-ish hardware as possible.

Does that look ok? What else do I need to take into consideration?
Anbody have any thoughts and/or tips for a noooob?
