well worst case scenario you only run 2 of the lights and way less plants then you planned. Then while those are flowering you might find someone you trust or learn how to fix the problem. I know its not wat you wanted to hear but sometimes things dont go the way you planned. At least you have a huge space to work in and eventually get the watts you want in there.

if i were near you i couldnt help you with the electricity problem but i sure as hell would take those big plants. Maybe you can find a secret outdoor spot to plant them and leave them and not worry about them. Then come back for them when they are ready to harvest.

The problem is finding someone that I trust to do it for me.

in my opinion, i would do research and figure it out my self if i was you. You shouldnt show anyone this room.

your clearly planing a jungle :)

i would be paranoid enough with out showing anyone.

stick to forums and books, you will figure it out sooner or later!

Just a thought here.. I am no electrician, but I am pretty familiar with it all. From looking at that close-up of the breakers I would be REAL careful with that box, Those 30amp breakers look like they are wired with 12awg wire AT MOST... If I am not mistaken, 30-amp 2-pole would need something around 10awg if not 8 depending on the length of the run.

Just an observation, take it for what its worth.

How Much Does Upgrading an Electrical Panel Cost?

Power from the electrical company's line flows through a home's outside meter and into the electrical service panel, which controls the flow of electricity into the house. Total electrical usage cannot exceed the panel's capacity, which can be 100, 150, 200 or 400 amps. Homes may also have sub-panels that are located elsewhere, which are smaller versions of the main panel and wired through it. Typical costs:
  • Typically it costs $800-$1,200 to have a qualified electrician upgrade an existing panel to 100 amps, or $1,500-$2,500 if a new panel is needed.
  • Expect to pay $1,300-$3,000 to upgrade to 200 amps, or $2,000-$4,000 to go to 400 amps.
  • Installing a new sub-panel runs $500-$1,000.
What should be included:
  • Electrical panels in an older home might have a lower capacity, but 100 amps is the current minimum required, while 150 amps is common. Many new homes are being built at 400 amps, which usually is achieved by using a 400-amp meter and two 200-amp panels.
If needed, the upgrading process can include repairing old wiring, adding a copper grounding pole, and removing and replacing the old panel.

this link is a great read for elec panel ???s

the panel in question is a subpanel, not the main panel for the residence, as is obvious from the pics... upgrading the panel itself shouldnt be that expensive at all, as the feed for the panel is already in place, you just need a newer panel. ive done similair jobs on the 'side' for 700 flat rate
but i am far from la

Thank you. I'll try to work with that.

Where did you get that bug for your signature? Do you know where I can get a fly swatter to kill it? It was driving me crazy at first then I figured it out then it drove me crazy again.
